I own the white and blue evic vt and I'm looking for a great sub ohm tank that is temp control. The best one I've seen and used so far has been the smok tc sub ohm tank. Only problem is it doesn't match my mod whatsoever with its green o rings. Is there anything out there that will work great and match my box as well? Or do I need to wait for one to come out that matches. In the meantime I'm using the Ego 1 mega tank which matches it perfectly although it is mediocre at best. Help guide me in the right direction. Thanks guys/girl.

Fasttech has colored orings for several tanks, you can look and see if they have any for yours.

Wetvapes is where I got mine. It does really good. It has great flavor.

Zephyrus by UD comes with blue o-rings, and RBA, for building your own dual coils. With the RBA installed, the airflow is as good as a dripper's. (Best airflow I've seen on a tank so far.) Another pro, it has top fill. However, the threads on it are super sharp, so take some sand paper to it.

Just make sure you get version 2 v1 was unuseable
The thing I didn't like about v2 is it has a proprietary sized drip tip you can make regular 51os work but you have to get creative with some dental floss and plumbing tape

Have you tried using the CLR coils on the eGo One Mega? I absolutely cannot stand the normal CL coils (they simply cannot wick) but the CLR coils are night and day better. They save the eGo One tank. You can get them in Ni or Ti (myvaporstore has them in stock) and they're completely rebuildable. You can use them for a few weeks and toss them like any normal heads, rewick them if the cotton is old, or build a new coil and use them over and over. I'm vaping on a rebuilt stainless steel CLR head in temperature control mode right now. If you're already using the rebuildable heads and still don't like the tank then the OBS T-VCT would be my recommendation also.

I was going to pick up a VTC just for grins, but I can't find the Ti CLRs in stock for a decent price.
I don't have any Ti so I don't want to order the Kanthal ones.

The VTC kit comes with a pretty nice CL Ti head in the box. The CL Ni head is rubbish but you still get a Ti head that will work (not rebuildable). Honestly, the kanthal CLR heads are excellent straight out of the package. They don't have temp control but they're great standard heads. If you ever order stuff from VaporDNA you can just add one or two to your order to see how you like them. They sell them in singles but they don't have the temperature control CLR heads. You can always use the rebuildable head with whatever wire you already have.

Otherwise, just use whichever tank and coils you already have and enjoy. The VTC kicks ass with all of my attys. I don't have titanium wire either. Until we get more solid safety info on it I'll just try out a head or two. Stainless Steel temp control seems like it will be the safest option. Lets hope the VTC gets a firmware update that supports it.

Your best bet will probably be to wait on Ecig to get them back in stock and just use the CL-Ti head from the kit. It's the only decent CL head Joyetech makes so it's nice that they include one. Hopefully it will last you until Ecig gets more stock. They're right around $15 everywhere that has them in stock.

One nice thing for those of us who don't have titanium wire is that you can often re-wick the CLR heads when the cotton is finished. You have to be careful and spin the cotton out, but it works. The top of the coil head unscrews, so if you accidentally move the coil, you can straighten it from the top. Titanium is more delicate than kanthal so a light touch is key.

I had thought the same about waiting & keeping an eye on Ecig, I want a Crown at their price when/if that restocks.

I thought Ti was cool to handle, I've managed to rewick both my Kanger Nis and my own annealed, though that gets delicate. Should have bought tempered back when.

I ordered the Crown from Alluring Vapes before I knew about the Ecig price. I almost ordered another one anyway, but it's better to try these things out before committing to two. The Crown will be here tomorrow. Cannot wait!

Update...... ok I bought the clr heads that came with the kanthal wire. They were great right out of the box due to those bigger juice channels. Running them in watts mode. I also bought 26g nickel wire and built my first head yesterday with some ud cotton. Gonna run that in watts mode as well due to the power not changing when I hit it. I bought the evic vt for temp control but I found it to be more stable and perform better in watts mode. Just my opinion. Thank u for all the help as now all sub ohm tanks are an option for me not just the temp control ones. Again ty all.

Dude. Just, no.
:(
I tried running the Ni200 coil in my Atlantis in watts (power) mode and it was awful..
Ohms was all over the place and I wound up burning the cotton in about 4 hits...taste was harsh and it totally sucked...just sayin. :(

Glad to hear that you like the CLR heads. They definitely save the tank.

Seriously, it's not a good idea to use nickle in normal power mode. Stick to kanthal, nichrome or stainless steel for watts.
