Help please-IPV 3 LI upgrade.

Hi people.

Today I got a lovely new IPV 3 LI.

I downloaded the SXI software, and the upgrade file-but it wont connect to my device, it just says device not found.

Is there anything else I need to do? I am using windows on a mac-and my DNA200 and Xcube software works fine.

There is on the connection page an option to 'install driver', but when I click it, there is no driver to select to install.

Any help would really be appreciated. I am using it at the moment though-and am enjoying it throroughly with a TI build, but I want the 200W and joule update.

Before you update take the batteries out of the LI on some machines you have to run the SXI software as administrator..
I am betting you still have the batteries in

Hi mate. As already said, make sure to take out the batteries before hooking up to the USB cord. If you're mod is still not being seen, try a different USB cord. Let us know if you get it sorted. Hope you are liking the 3Li.

Hi Mr scaryZ, masher59 and wingsfan0310.

I had the batteries pulled-but I have sorted it.

I had to download the update from another source and unzip it-the source being Yihicigar. This allowed the IPV 3 LI driver to be installed.

I was loving it before the update-now it is even smoother. I dare say it may be smoother than my Sig150TC, and it does TI as well.

In power mode it goes up to 200W, but my joules have remained at 50, is this correct? There is no joule increase no? 50J is enough for me anyway, as my TC vaping is generally with a tank, under 30J. 50J is well enough-but I was sure the upgrade made it 100J, or am I wrong?

Either way-I have a device overload. I got a brand new guitar amp yesterday, a new phone today, a Uwell crown and sigelei Ohmmeter in the post, and about 30 minutes ago a courier delivery of the IPV 3 LI.

Still waiting on my DNA200-latest it can get here is towards the end of the week-so I guess it will be then.

But, thumbs up to the IPV. Is there a way to turn the touch sensor off? It's not in the way, just I prefer the fire button. Is it OK to leave that on? Or does it fire randomly if a bit of juice gets on it?

Thanks everone-well happy with this device. I have a brand new set of 25R's that I have married and dated, but am using another married set at the moment as these are on charge.

This is the closest to a DNA200 there is. Also the sig 150 tc, but that only does NI200 properly.

I think this is my new favourite mod.

After the update, it's 100j in Ti. Still 50j in Ni200 though.

Edit Press the fire and down button to turn the touch sensor off, fire and up to turn it back on

Edit 2 I've never had my touch sensor go off if I didn't touch it. I have however touched it by accident when holding it. As a safety feature, the touch won't be active once the screen times out/goes dark, even if you have it on.

Nice Conan I love my 3Li VR it's a tank and works like a charm and with my HG2s I can get almost 2 days on a single charge with my Crown topper. My Reuleaux came in yesterday and it's amazing also but I'm going to basically use it at home and keep the 3Li for outings. I have several friends that used my 3Li and immediately bought one for themselves and they love it also.

Ah thanks mate- I read the instructions fully and saw how to turn it on/off, but you replied before I had fully read them, so thanks .

OK yep mine is going up to 100J for TI, 50J is plenty for my purposes of this device though.

Using a TI dual coil .18 build in there, and its one smoooooth bugger! None of this hot/cold shit of the Xcube 2. So, I think in order performance wise for me, DNA200-IPV3 LI-Sig 150 TC and the IPV D2, with the Xcube 2 firmly at the bottom. All the others are pretty identical, although the Sig and the IPV 3 LI does have a slightly noticeable advantage over the D2. The D2 is actually a bloody good device for its price.

Only thing is the battery life-I must admit I prefer dual battery mods now, just due to their battery life. Next week I should have the DNA 200 wismec, I have pre ordered it, that should have an insane amount of W/h's so I may give my fiancee the other DNA200 to use-I think she will be impressed, plus she is starting to chase clouds lol, so she might enjoy a bit of extra power .

EDIT:what has newer firmware, the Sig 150TC or the IPV 3 LI? As I am pretty sure I'm not imagining the smoothness of it.

I have the Reuleaux on pre order-I spoke to the shop, they expect them middle of next week-I payed for 24 hour delivery for this mod, so hopefully end of next week I have the wismec. I'm still waiting on my Hotcig DNA200 from the USA though-evolv said 7-10 days till I get it, that was last Monday so they are within their time, hopefully a couple days and I have it.

I have been taking the Sig 150 out with me more and more, short trips I take the D2. But I think the IPV will be a definite take out device for me-I'm not bothered about size, as I don't vape where you are not supposed to, so don't need 'stealth', battery life is what I need

Just checked where my DNA200 is-its STILL in Chicago, it has been since the 12th! Don't know whats going on there-I am hoping its just not updated and it will turn up in a few days.

I meant to ask-I am using fresh 25R's for this mod. I understand it has no boost though, so it IS drawing a hell of a lot from your batteries.

I am very unlikely to use it this high, but would the occasional use at 170W or so be bad?

Haha, thank you . I'm quite lucky I can afford it, and in may the TPD may come into effect-so I am getting my collection as fast as I can afford.

I already have a wismec DNA200 Realaux on pre order, that should be in stock at the shop next week, and I have 24 hour delivery on that one, so can't wait for that.

Still waiting for the hotcig though. It has been in Chicago at O'hare since the TWELTH! I am wondering if they think it is a tazer, as I only sent the half with the two prongs. Some idiot may not know what it is, and they are checking its not illegal before sending. But it should be back by now, Evolv said 7 days, max 10, its day 8 now so hopefully it turns up anytime soon.
