Help please!

Hi sorry to bother you but I've just started having some problems with my kangertech subox mini with 7ml tank. I've just replaced my coil today and bought new juice. I have. 0.5mil coil with elements watermelon chill 80 vg 20 pg. I've done my usual routine with replacing a coil and all I'm getting is a harsh hit. Not burnt just really harsh. I've never had this problem before and just wondered if you would know anything about this. Thank you.

Hi there you are no bother at all, sounds like the coil is not getting wet enough, have you tried trying a different coil? Welcome to VU, nice to meet you!!!!

Yes I have. I've been using this juice for 3 months and never had a problem.

By chance are these heads out of a new package?

Stranger things have happened than getting a bad pack of heads.

Brand new sealed kangertech coils. Is there any chance of the juice being a bad batch?

I bought 4 20ml bottles today from my usual store and a pack of 5 0.5 coils and I've used two coils but get the same results

All I have is the four bottles of the watermelon chill. The changes I've made today is a upped the strength from 3mg to 6mg but I usually make that change from time to time

Well it's definitely a problem I haven't had experience with. Would you suggest going into the store and seeing if they will be able to help me resolve this problem?

This stuff is imported from the USA (I'm from the UK) and I love it.

I've gotten a nasty taste from new Kanger coils already but it goes away after a few hits. More of an oil taste than harsh.
Try the liquid on a different setup and if it tastes bad it's the liquid if it's fine it's the coils. I should add that I use the Subtank nano that only holds 1.5 mil so for me it's about a half tank 0.5 ml or so.

Unfortunately this is the only set up I have but I had bought a pack of five coils today and two didn't do the trick, I've tried several hits on both to no success

I'd take the coils, your tank and the liquid to your local shop and see if someone there drips and can check the taste. Let them try your tank also. Or if you have an old coil that you can try (one that's not burnt). Process of elimination.

From time to time, bad batches of coils make it out of the factory. This can happen to any manufacturer.

There is also the possibility that you ended up with an E-Liquid with a higher VG mix than you wanted..

Or PG, I know when I vape something with too much PG it's harsh to me and makes me cough

Hey guys, just to let you all know I've just got home from the store and we tried everything then we opened up another bottle of watermelon chill that they had at the store and compared the two on different coils and we concluded the juice I had was a bad batch. Thank you for your help guys!
