so I just picked up a series box mod and parallel box mood I have no ideal what kind of builds to put in them. I been building for a year now so I can build regular wire got some 80 nichrome coming in the mail to try and build Clapton but right now I have 24/26/29 gage a1 kanthal wire to work with. Have mxjo 2500 mah running in both

Okay, so In my series mod (Noisy Cricket) I have a 2x28K/40N fused Clapton. It's 10.5 wraps around a 2.5mm post in my Twisted Messes clone RDA. It pulls about 16 amps in a dual coil build. It vapes absolutely fantastic! 
For my parallel (Tesla Invader II), I like to use it for builds that go below 0.10Ω that I want to try. Like an 8 ply 0.8x0.01 ribbon framed staple coil, for instance. I use Samsung 25R batteries (also rated at 20 amps). I like them because I can trust that they're not going to vent on me with 2-3 second pulses at lower ohms and higher than their continuous amp rating. I don't trust most other battery manufactures specs, with the exception of Sony and LG. At full battery charge, this single coil build pulls around 50 amps.

Oh yeah, for the wire that you have available right now, a dual coil parallel wire coil build using the 24g kanthal would work great on the parallel mod. 6.5 wraps, 2.5mm ID. For the series, you're fairly limited as to what you can do. Maybe a 2 wire 29g twisted wire coil, dual coil build. Again, with 6.5 wraps around a 2.5mm post.
I got a 24n80 / 32n80 clapton dual coil 8 wrap in the noisy cricket @ .3... i like a hot vape and thats what it puts out.
On a parallel like the cherrybomber i will usually do something like transformer build for around .08ohms...
I use vtc4s.
I wouldnt do either of those builds with your cells though... or id do em at higher gauges.
