So I just got the Crius tank and I'm loving it, but, I'm having an issue with dry hits.

I watched multiple videos and tried different wicking. Just stuffed the cotton in the slot and left the juice holes empty.

I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue and how to fix it.

I'm also wondering if it's my build, could .3 be TOO low for this tank and it just heats up to quick and hot and the juice can't keep up?

Thanks guys!

Are you using the coils that came with it (that also come in at 0.3)?

If so, it's not the build. There's another thread somewhere about this (recent) also. You must have slightly too much cotton blocking the juice holes - try thinning it and pulling the tiniest strand into the very top of the channel - just so you can barely see it.

I'm assuming you have the juice flow turned wide open when the tank is all ready to go?

I am using the coils that came with it, so leave the holes completely completely open?

I looked for the thread, have it on hand so I can take a look?! :)

Yes, open it completely. If it leaks, then close it just a little bit.

Care to share some pics of your wicking on it?

It's much easier to show you youtube videos: try this one

But it's really important to fiddle with the juice control!

Then all you can do is to thin your cotton until you get leaking. Then add it back until it stops! And make sure the cotton isn't too thick in your coil - it will choke the juice.

Back to the drawing board tomorrow, haha.

If you're not used to wicking RTAs it just takes a bit of practice! Don't give up - this is the best one I've ever used:p

All I run are RTAs! Lemo 2 was my go to, Bellus as well, Goliath v2 etc. lol

I can tell this will be the best tank I've ever used (once I figure out the wicking) that's why it's bugging me!

I run a .2 ohm duel coil at 65 watts and no dry hits. Even when I chain vape. There's a few good videos on YouTube on wicking but the best way I have found is cut the ends into a V. And make sure the top of the juice holes are full of cotton but not to tight. And the bottom juice hole you can see through the tank just have a little cotton. I see very little cotton when I look at my tank.

Awesome, good description of it. Even with the occasional dry hits, man this tbing chucks vapor and the flavor is unbelievable.

No problem, it took me a few wicking jobs to get it. You don't need much cotton at all.

So I couldn't wait till tomorrow lol, just re wick'd it. No dry hits, did some chain vaping, and some long 5 second vapes and it was good to go, juice holes wide open and had a little condensation leaking around the airflow, nothing crazy and nothing problematic, I'll update tomorrow and see if it continues to produce no dry hits. I'm loving it on my new vicious ant phenom, it's my first authentic and I will definitely be purchasing it in SS, best mech I've ever used.
