Help?

I just recently got a Itaste MVP 3.0 and I must say the battery is slick. It gives righteous puffs I can feel in my throat and vapes so good I can taste the liquid very well. However, I am having problems burning through coils on my old tank and I was wondering if someone could suggest a good tank that is suitable for variable voltage of up to 9.0v.

The tank I'm currently using is a Aspire Nautilus 5ML. The coils burn extremely easy at higher voltage temps.

If you can suggest a 5ml tank with a stainless steal guard instead of acrylic plastic that would be best.

Hopefully I'm posting in the right subsection. If not... please let me know.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Uwell Crown ...

My wattage is usually around 13 or 12... my voltage never goes higher than 4.8 or 5.0.

However, the voltage on the battery can go up to 9.0... the voltage and wattage adjust at the same time but the wattage can go up to nearly 49/50w.

I dont need a tank or tank/coil that can handle all that just one that can handle higher V/W.

Get one of the new Rebuildable tanks griffin or steamcrave.
I think the Griffin is an awesome tank, but I would NOT recommend moving to it from a Nautilus ... too much of a learning curve if all you are used to is changing a coil.

Study ohms law if you raise the wattage you raise the voltage. there is a direct correlation.

Yeah, if you're using a 1.5 ohm coil at 12w, that's only 4.24 volts. At 13w, it's 4.42v.

If you want a tank you can use now and grow into get a Uwell Crown with the 1.2 ohm coils for your setup now. You can get lower ohm coils down the road if you get a higher watt mod.

There is only 2 ways you can raise the wattage in vaping.
1. Lower the coil resistance.
2. Raise the voltage applied to the coil.

I would suggest something that takes aspire coils so you have a whole range of resistances to mess with. There are a lot out there that take that style of coil; I prefer the silo beast and freemax starre. The freemax starre (avoid the the starre pro) is 5ml, has decent airflow and has never given me any issues. The Silo is also 5ml and has a shorty sleeve in case you ever need / want something smaller. There are a ton of tanks that meet your requirements, I would personally just try and stick to something that takes replacement coils and is not a dedicated rebuildable until you have a bit more experience.
