Help!

I've been vaping now for just over 2 weeks. So far, successfully gone from about 30 cigs to none and it's safe to say that i think i'm more addicted to vaping! I just love it. Still trying to figure out how this is going to be a cost savings for me as i've spent nearly $700 bucks so far on vaping.

Nonetheless, aside from my obsession of wanted every flavor juice and every device, still lots to learn!

So far i have the Smok Infinix, Suorin Vagon, Breeze 2 and Nautilus AIO. Using 30 mg nic salt 30/70 PG/VG in all.

I have questions about all of them and issues with all of them, would like to combine all the good into one, but that is probably wishful thinking. Here are my questions, and would love some help and advice!

1. Smok Infinix, was loving it from the start, plain and simple not much to do, i like the warm temp of the draw and other than the horrible battery, it's actually pretty great for what it is.....until a couple of days ago. Every pod tastes burnt. I've changed it 4 times and as you know, these pods are not cheap. I let them stand an hour after filling (as i did for the first week) and first pull, burnt taste. I can't imagine what i'm doing wrong!, I'm obsessively clean about my device and stuff, it's cleaned out, not juice or gunk anywhere, read somewhere about getting airbubbles in it? Don't know, but it's gross. This is my go to cig but i gotta get rid of the burnt taste!!! input and advice would be helpful.

2. Nautilus AIO - so really wanted to love this device, feels kind of cheap and crappy, but better clips and first venture into coils (using both the NS and the regular ones - no difference to me), i prime them exactly as directed and let it sit a good 30 min, but no matter what i do, the thing spits hot crap in my mouth and always sounds gurgled. taste is average at best, and sometimes some vape, sometimes, very little. Always starts to work properly when the tank is 3 quarters empty. I also can't change the coil when it's full as juice comes out both ends? Who thought that up? Then it's all gucky in the mouth piece. Battery is good and clips are good and you can see the lights.

3. Vagon, well, my least favorite, i have to put so hard on it to get it going and have to puff like a smoke. Always have to push the pod down before i use it. it's ok at best.

4. Breeze 2 - this is the best out of the lot other than the crappy clips and the impossible site of the charge lights. I just wanted to say i like it for what it is.

i have 12 bottles of different flavors of nic salt juice and totally loving most of them and chain vaping without problem. Makes my cigs taste awful, so no desire to smoke that's the good thing.

Final question, so much about mods and sub Ohm, i don't understand most of it, but they look cool and i want one. But i don't want to buy anymore juice ~ for now at least. Read that you can't use high nic salt in one of those fancy devices, Is there something i can get that will allow me to vape at a lower watt so i can use my juice, but get some bells and whistles and a cool looking new vape? At this point, i'd like something that wouldn't fire based on battery life - constant output and something that i could set so i can get warm vape. Oh and must be MTL.

Thanks in advance of any replies.

As for your issue with the second vape, I have had this issue after changing coils. What seems to help is blowing into the mouthpiece while firing. Vapor should come out the airflows. I do this about 2 or 3 times for a couple seconds each. Then try taking a hit. Should resolve most of the gargling sound and spitting (that hot juice can really burn your mouth /: I almost gave up vaping on my first day because I flooded my coils).

Get a good mod..... Not expensive but that will last you a long time at least 2 years...... Example: The Smoant Cylon

Then get a good tank you can rebuild, taste good has airflow and juice adjustment.... Example: Aromamizer Supreme Plus

Then a good flavor juice at around 18mg nicotine......

Now after 5 Vapes you need to lay down.....

The Cylon mod
The Aromamizer Supreme Plus

I feel ya , i have been vaping about 3 months and went down the Juice path myself , have way too many flavors lol Have not really counted the cost as goal is to stay off the cigs for me , been almost 3 months now . One thing i did different than you was go sub ohm to start and bought a Vaporesso mini kit with sub ohm tank . I started with a lower nic level at 6mg and am now moving into 3 mg . The vapes does taste much better and i am missing smokes less and less , but still want one every now and then .. I just vape thru it .

Sorry can not be more help with what equipment to buy , was told its a important part of vaping tho and you do need gear that your happy with .. I have bought a couple tanks but still use the same MOD and its been working ok for me so far
good luck

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate it. I still have no clue what is wrong with the Smok pods, but basically it's going in the garbage as it tasted horrible all of a sudden and i've changed the pods like 10 times. Not buying anymore...pointless. Fairly happy with my Breeze 2, the Nautilus AIO is ok as a second, still just trying to figure out if there is a tank system I can buy that will give me constant output (i really hate how my current devices fire as the battery goes down), great taste and a good MTL vape.....and that i can use my 28 mg of nic salt juice. It doesn't have to be fancy, just would like it to work better than the pods.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the type of devices you are using but a good next step up is an Innokin Kroma/Zenith kit. Mtl or rl depending on where you set the af, airflow, would allow for experimenting with different tanks if you wished. The Zenith coils are good and have a pretty good life span.

I've been through several pod devices, and all have had various frustrations. Maybe I haven't tried the right one.

Letitia's suggestion for Zenith tank with Kroma-A (or another small mod) would be great option, unless you must have tiny/stealth.

For a very restrictive direct lung vape, the Vaporesso Cascade baby 0.3 ceramic coil is a nice option. Runs at 35-40w. Can get a kit, separate mod, whatever you like. Though 28mg nic salts is way too high for that- I use 6mg regular freebase nic with that.

By the way, a Smoant mod, like MannyScoot showed, is nice to have when the time comes. Charon Mini, Cylon, Battlestar are all winners. You can pair it with Zenith even if overkill, then use it for other tanks later on that need more power.

My 2 best recommended mods that performance is amazing and I put them up with the best:
The Smoant Battlestar
The Smoant Cylon

Might be better to use some vaper towel and blow the juice out into it before you put your tank/rda on to the mod. I've gotten a little burnt from hot juice. Nothing serious but it isn't a pleasant experience.

You could use a tank such as a kanger toptank with the 1.5ohm coils on a device but you will end up only ruining it at about 10 to 15 watts.
I think Aspire may make a higher ohm coil for their regular tanks. (1.2ohm maybe?)

Sub ohm is below 1ohm so as long as you are vaping above 1.2 ohms and not more than around 20 watts the 30mg/ml nic salt should work fine.

So you could buy a decent mod and then use a tank with coils at 1.2ohms and up and you should be OK.

There must be newer MTL tanks with higher ohm coils but I don't know of any off of the top of my head.

I have tried 25mg/ml salt nic in a kanger toptank with 0.5ohm coils and it was horrible but I had an old Joytech AIO stick device that was meant for regular nic, took 1.2ohm coils, and the 25mg/ml salt nic hit as smoothly as a pod system in it.

Sounds like you have Puppy Syndrome... a puppy will literally eat until its gut bursts, given unlimited food. Slow down, you dont need to get everything at once... and likely in 3 months, you will be wanting new toys anyway. First is quit the ciggies, then play with mods. Really you only NEED 1 and maybe 1 as back up. Some might disagree but that AIO is a waste of CASH. They are fine if you are only ever going to vape at one setting, but as for trying different builds they are useless. Don't worry, you probably have enough to play with for a few months.
I've been buying some new mods recently with Christmas as my excuse. I have a Snowolf 218 for daily vaping, and ordered a parallel / series-parallel mod for my newest toy, and a tube mod that accepts upto the new 20700 cells. (3000mah at 35A CDR) *note.. this is not an 18650 at 30A max* LOL Figured i would point that out before a dozen people jumped on it.
Only buy what you can afford to buy as you can afford to buy it. You seem to be interested also in the hobby of vaping. Nothing wrong with it.. just can get expensive. Coil building is also decent to help quit smoking. You don't smoke when concentrating on a coil build. (I spent 8 hours on one coil without having a smoke when I was starting out... )

As for 2nd issue.. try NOT to get juice inside the coil, just on the wicking material, and try not to get any in the chimney (tube that goes to the mouth peice and inside the coil)
