Herakles prebuilt coils marked incorrectly

Hey all!

Just got my Herakles tank - YAY! But, i was looking at the engravings on the coils and they're mismarked.

The .6 has 50-100W engraved on it
The .2 has 30-75W


Anyone else have this happen? Or am I being a total airhead and that's what they're supposed to be?

The .6 is a dual parallel kanthal coil, and the .2 is a Ni200 coil markings are correct. The .6 doesn't really start to shine until you hit it with 60 watts plus.

Actually, his .2 is not Ni200 as it is marked 30-75W. The .2 Ni200 coils are marked 15-50W.

But yeah... the coils are not marked incorrectly.

Yep! They are the ones that come with the tank.

I just checked my Ni200 coil that came with my tank, and it doesn't even have a wattage range stamped on it, just Ni200 .2 ohm.
