Herakles v2 or Arctic v8 mini?

thinking of getting one of the two. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have Arctic V8 and Herakles Plus, similar to the V2 but larger 3.6 ml juice capacity, and a top to bottom airflow. I've had the V8 about 10 days, the Herakles Plus about 5 weeks.

Arctic V8 has a rebuildable deck option. Herakles V2 or Plus, not yet, as far as I know.

For me, easy choice, Herakles V2, or better yet the Herakles Plus. Reason being, Arctic V8 coils have all flooded bad upon 2nd tank refill. 2 Tiger coils, 1 Hive coil, first 3 I tried all gave this issue. For me, it's a fail. Too late to get a refund or exchange. Your mileage might vary.

If you like building Herakles just came out with a baller 25mm RTA.

The V2 is literally just a Herakles Plus with less capacity and no top airflow. If you don't mind a low profile 2ml tank, get the V2, if you want more capacity and more airflow, get the Plus.

The V8 is nice, it has a FUCK load of different coil options, but I don't like any of them enough to warrant using it. I'm a rebuildable guy at heart anyway. The V2 is very TPDish.

I just picked up the Herakles and I'm more than happy with it. Can't really find anything that bugs me other than it was leaking but for some reason when I put in the 316ss .2 coil it hasn't leaked since. How many watts would be a nice sweet spot on the .2 coil? I know everyone like to vape there own way but I just want to hear suggestions.

The .2 is rated for up to 80 watts, though I've had it as high at 100 with no problems. Just adjust to your liking.

I like the .2 at 65-67 watts with the Cuboid, but as mentioned above, it can do much higher. I have not tried much over 80, maybe 85 for a quick pull or two.

It is a weaker vape with the single battery D3.

I find that in addition to the usual precautions, it's less likely to leak if not quite topped off when filled.

Thanks. I think 65 watts feels perfect. I was at 50 on my .4 defiant and Cleito tanks. The flavor in this bad boy is awesome. What other coils are compatible with it other than just Herakles coils? Has anyone tried them?

Only Herakles Plus coils work for the Plus, V2, Mermaid, or Mermaid Plus. Not like the original Herakles, which can use the Atlantis compatible coils. I expect more options might come at some point.
