Heraklus RTA-2 juice flow control.

The JFC on my RTA-2 is some damn tight it's almost impossible to turn. I have to use both hands or hold the base with pliers. When I use two hands I'm worried that I'm gonna mess up the threads between the tank and base or break the glass.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't have the RTA-2 but the original RTA and the JFC is tight but I have never had any problems, I just turn it from the top of the tank. It is new? Might be a bad oring or it just needs some juice to get around to loosen it up.

I ordered the RTA mini which uses the same base as the RTA 2. I should have it this week as well and will report on how the JFC works on the new one.

Yes, I've had it less the two weeks.

I've never had this problem on all 3 of mine. Yes, I had to get one of each color.

I got the rose gold herakles rta mini in and the jfc works fine. The ring that is right above the air flow control isn't what you actually want to turn, that turns with the top part of the tank. Just hold the air flow control and turn the top of the tank and you can control jfc that way.

I e-mailed ecig.com and they're probably going to replace it. I just have to send mine back.

I forgot to return :D got mine since, and it's been fine. The JFC turns smoothly on it, I have had the base open the chimney section a few times though, when going to re-wick. Which is a pain when you still got juice in the tank. This pretty much takes the tank apart, the glass, the chimney, the top section all coming loose. Just gotta watch for that.
