After reading that, I had no reason to read further to get a laugh.

That's hilarious. I've felt that way about a lot of high priced stuff that isn't overly obvious as to cost. Like what, no extended warranty, no reach around, nada? Reminds me of a comedy bit done by Ron White and I often hear his voice in my head when I look at products and think yep - I like it, I don't love it.
Yup. Just not enough to splurge on it. Especially with things like "authentic" tube mechs which cost $300 for a piece of machined metal.
And we thought smoking was expensive!
