I started vaping years ago.
Started with Ego knockoffs and cartomizers, which I used for years.
Tried cheap disposable clearomizers. Fail.
Tried one of the tanks that used the tiny original "Smok" heads, which I rebuilt with cotton. Meh.
Friend sent me her old Nautilus. Heads were amazingly inconsistent -- either didn't wick or leaked.
Another friend sent me a Kayfun Lite clone, so used that until I busted a screw the other day.
Moved up to Evod Twist knockoffs from the Ego ones.
Finally got a "real" mod -- Eleaf Istick 50W, fire button failed like it inevitably does on this mod.*
Currently:
A Wismec CB-60, which is awesome compared to everything I had before, and in my price range.
22mm Wotofo Sapor RTA because it was on clearance and I snapped a deck screw on the Kayfun.**
*Read the internets before buying stuff. Seriously.
**Sapor works with a single-coil sideways between the posts -- how I get away with running it on a tiny mod.
Other babble:
Still a fan of the Kayfun for an "out and about" tank, going to get a replacement deck from SlowBoatTech.
Saving my pennies for a Wismec RX2 21700, batteries+charger are the expensive bit.
Found this video for single-coiling a velocity deck (I use 8-9 3mm turns of 28awg NiCh80
