I've been looking at a lot of your recipes and really wanna give some a try (vanilla Chai omg)

I notice a lot of your recipes have a lot of flavors in small quantities. Any tips or advice on how to mix them in small batches?

Ie: 10mL or smaller batch to taste a .25% honey ... how do I even measure that out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Ahhhhh ok that makes sense. So do u make a bunch of those pre mixed batches to make a bunch of different recipes?

So far I've only been mixing single flavor juices but I want to try making some of these more complex flavors.

If you're talking about the link, thats handy to do for recipes you like. You're making the recipe into a flavor concentrate that you can use to make the recipe as strong as you want, and be able to quickly make fresh bottles. It also makes it easy to measure ingredients if you're trying out a recipe, but if you dont like it, you've possibly wasted flavoring. I do make bottles of concentrate for some recipes once I know I like them. If you meant the dilutions, there are really only a few flavors you should need to do that with like honey, and some spices, etc. What are you measuring with?

@SixFiveLive said it all! You don't have to jump from single flavors alllll the way to very complex recipes, though. You can get great complex flavor with few flavorings, too.

This is really good and pretty simple: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-sugary-almond-apple-tart-simple-variations.13178/
or the "bolder" version of this one: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-irish-lass-creamy-vanilla-irish-whiskey-coffee.1819/
or: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/hics-white-tic-tac.1773/
I'll stop there, but you don't have to.

Ok, I was going to suggest 1 ml syringes if you weren't using them. You can get a box of 100 for like 8$ if you look around on amazon or ebay. If you haven't already, cover the numbers with scotch tape so they don't come off. Good luck. Just stick with it and you'll figure out what works for you. And oh yeah, I guess I should've been saying solutions, not dilutions earlier.

Hey Brandonf8o8. I'm fairly new to DIY but I’ve found a really easy way (for me) is to mix small amounts using drops. All the FA bottles should have the same size tips (drops) which makes this method really quick as well, especially if you have your Nic/PG/VG liquid already mixed.

My method is to find the lowest percentage denominator and multiply my drops from that amount. I.E. if the smallest amount in a recipe is 0.25%, I count that as 1 drop, 0.05% will be 2 drops and 1% will become 4 drops. I then usually multiply those numbers by 3 or 4. (For anything less than .25% or so, I’ll make a 10% solution of that flavour to use.)

0 .25% = 1 drop x 3 = 3 drops (or x 4 = 4 drops etc.)

0.50% = 2 drops x 3 = 6 drops

0.75% = 3 drops x 3 = 9 drops

1 % = 4 drops x 3 = 12 drops

I give the flavours a good shake then drip them straight into a tiny labelled dripper/dropper bottle and give it another good shake to mix. I want to try all of HIC’s recipes and that’s going to take a heap of time, so I only make small amounts of the straight flavour mixes.

The bottle looks to have very little in it but the flavour-mix goes a lot further than it appears it would because only around 2 drops per ml are needed. I drip straight into my attie then drip my premixed Nic PG/VG liquid in on top and again give it a good shake before I vape.

I work out the percentage of flavour-mix to nic mix by adding up the %s in HIC’s recipe. The total is the percent of the flavour-mix I use.

The first recipe I made was 3 Milky Muskeeteers (it’s delicious). It had 8 flavours that added up to 7%. That equalled 1 drop flavor to 18 drops nic mix.

Hope this helps and it’s not all double Dutch to you LOL :)
