HIC's Red Candy Apple recipe: lots of cinnamon candy with a little bit of bright apple. Happy Halloween!

4% TFA Cinnamon Red Hots
2% FA Fuji

Shake and vape!

I know some of you east-coast Americans expect cherry coating, but where I grew up, red candy apples had hot cinnamon candy coating made with corn syrup and red hots. Flavor of the wooden stick is not included.:)

Darn, you post a freakin' two flavor recipe and I'm still missing an ingredient! Really need to grab some Cinnamon Red Hots soon.

I've been looking for a candied apple recipe. And I love Fuji Apple so much. Can't wait to try.

Tball, I vape TFA Cinn Red Hots flavor standalone around 8%. I cut it in half for flavor-lightweights like you - hahaha! ;)

hmm perhaps a bit of hickory or oak.. ??

it's funny.. you posted this up, and I was drooling over this last night.. :D

OK had to book mark that.... holy shit so going to make one soonish.
I might just take the idea of the blooming cut and do a lower sugar idea I have had bouncing in my skull for a while.

For me out here it was caramel apples, no candy coating....
Saw frosted apples the other day.... Almost went into a diabetic coma at 5 paces seeing them... it was the nearly inch of neon orange frosting on it that got that response.

8%? Wow. More than I can take. I made a TFA cinammon at 12% with 4% TFA redhots and that was all I wanted and more. Will try the H&H combo to see whats up with that. Have a great day.

I didn't realize that the rest of the country had something different than our sweet, pull out your teeth candy apples! I love bakery cinnamon, but not red hots. Now, if you could come up with an east coast recipe, that would be perfect! :)

allergic?
Yeah I have a few of mild allergic reactions to a lot of stuff... avocado, watermelon, melon, birds, cats, pecan, untoasted peanuts etc. but it is just mild, usually with food I just get my gums swollen up, at most I get a rash and watery eyes

But I thought I was free of all that while vaping!! Damn cinnamon hots!!

Pretty sure it was the red hots, I made this juice at about 11 pm way after dinner, and as soon as I started vaping it, I felt it (like I usually do) on the top of my palate, a few mins into vaping and I already had swollen up!! Sad thing was I thought I could ride it out, but no, 5ml after I was a mess, but it was worth it.

Whoa! Don't do that to yourself! I have read other people describe that kind of reaction to that flavoring, so you're not the only one. It doesn't do that to me or I'd never use it.

In this case, I have to ask if you're willing to try 4% FA Cinnamon Ceylon here instead? It WILL make a very similar flavor when used at higher percents like this, but it uses much different ingredients than TFA's Red Hot. Since you're liking the recipe, I hope FA makes it possible for you to enjoy it without inflating!

Let us know if it is similar. TFA Red Hots actually makes my mouth kind of sore as well. Haven't used it in a long time though.

Ok I love red hots! Was so looking forward to this and Jason's pomberry trinkets! Not very spicy and tfa cinnamon red hots has a bitter nasty taste! I'm thinking I got a bad bottle of this flavor. And spices really get to me I am usually very sensitive. Think flavor is just bad

Ok I'll try w cinnamon Ceylon and if taste is totally different then guess red hots just bad!
