High power battery-less VV/VW passthrough?

Before I go DIY, anybody knows of a VV or VW mod that's specifically designed to power directly off the mains (or through a wall wart) and puts out 15W or more?

I have a couple of mods that I always keep at the same spot to vape at home, and I'm kind of tired of having to recharge them. And while they charge through USB, the USB sockets are very inconveniently placed, so I can't really keep them plugged in permanently and vape at the same time.

A generic USB passthrough with a 2A USB socket would work, but these things are barely powerful enough to vape a clearo properly. They're much too asthmatic to power a dripper. I've googled around for a "home vaping station" of some kind, but I couldn't find anything.

Yep, there are a couple of things like that.

But IMHO not worth bothering with.

Something like 3.7, 4.2 and 4.8v settings only.

I may be wrong but I kinda think the MVP will function as a passthrough?

Or you can just get a 3 meter long USB cable?

Yes, I have the 3.7 / 4.2 / 4.8 thing. That's a generic USB passthrough, and that's what's not up to scratch to power a dripper (although it works dandy in the car with a clearo).

As for the MVP, as I said, the micro-USB charge socket isn't convenient, and it's fragile - on any USB-chargeable mod, not just the MVP.

Sorry,

Did my best for you.

Hopefully someone else will post with a better idea.

MAST MODS MINI formerly known as the Zorro.

This is an OKR T-10 Passthough uses an AC adapter similar to a laptop. I have Zorro number #21 and use it when i am sitting near my computer. Like the duke the max output is listed as 50w/6V however i have pushed a .5ohm coil to 72w @6v.

I am not aware of any raptor passthough but if there was that would be the ultimate no battery pass-though.

the 4.8v may not be enough for a dripper, but does pretty good on my naultilus tank... Maybe not enough for cloud chasing, but certainly good enough for vaping while browsing the forums for a couple hours...

Depending on what the amp limit is it will allow you run super sub ohm. 4.8v is higher than you will get from any single (18650) battery mech (around 4.2v).

Shouldn't be hard to make one really.

These guys Frankenstein'd one... :D

The problem with the USB passthrough thingy is that it can never supply more power than a fast-charge USB port can deliver, i.e. 10W. You can sub-ohm all you want at 4.8V, the actual voltage will drop. I'm not a cloud chaser, but 10W is a bit wimpy for a dripper really. I usually vape at around 13W with a RDA.

As for powering a clearo, yes it can do that. But the thing is, I want to drip at home, not use a clearo.

The Zorro mod looks like a great little mod. Just what I want really! The incredimazing price isn't exactly what I want thought :)

I think I'll go DIY. There are some really cheap 12V table lamp dimmers at my local hardware store that can go up to 50W. And it's easy enough to size a coil for 12V instead of 4V.

My iStick 50w have a 4400mah internal battery and charges via USB and have a pass-through MiniUSB port. I have two, they work great. I have a Clieto with the 5ml tank glass accessory and an Alliance V2+ RDA on mine at the moment. I am disabled and at my desk every day so mine are never unplugged and stay fully charged though I vape them hard all day long. Unplugged I get about 5 hours solid use and they charge in about 4 hours when depleted.

I don't know but assume that the iStick 100w is the same but I don't need that much power, the 50w do a great job. I have four TFV4 quad-coil tanks and a number of other tanks, Uwell Crown and Arctic Turbo's and so forth, and every kind of RDA from dotcom to Alliance Fat Boy that I run on a bevy of mods... two Wismec RX200, a Wismec DNA200, an IPV3 Li VR, an IPV5, Lotus LE80 etc and the vape experience I get from the iStick 50w (full rich warm cloud) is just as good as the others at 85w and I don't have to mess with changing and charging batteries.

Obviously the much more expensive higher power mods give a hotter vape, and you won't win any cloud contests with an iStick 50w, but for a reliable ADV (I vape around 20ml a day) it's great.
