Hohm wrecker G2- a worthy addition?

Hi everyone.

As you probably know, I enjoy collecting mods, and have enough regulated mods and mechs to last me a while.

I keep hearing great things about the FSK boards though, and I don't actually own one of these devices yet myself. I am probably late to the party here, but do want to get one of these mods to try myself.

It will be quite an expensive purchase though, I have found the G2 for £115 in the UK, which is where I live and would like to buy from, I don't mind buying overseas with cheaper devices, but when they cost a bit more I do prefer to have support in the UK.

Does anyone own one of these mods, and can you compare it to another good board, such as the DNA200? If so, do you prefer anything about the FSK over the Evolv board? EDIT: I realise the Kanthal Temp limiting was hype. Not so sure now in all honesty, one of my DNA200's has under 3000 puffs in Escribe so may not be worth getting unless it is sure to become a firm favourite.

It also does not need to be the Hohm wrecker, just any device that uses the same board. If another solid mod is available cheaper, I would take a look and weigh up which I preferred before purchase.

Any advice would be much appreciated, and thank you all for your help.

There's a big G2 thread here. IMO it's the best TC device on the market. It fires anything, Tc's anything, and it's built like a fucking rock. Yeah she ain't pretty but for under $50 you'd be hard pressed to find a more solidly built mod. It basically lets you really fine tune your vape on the mod. So, if tinkering around on Escribe is really not your thing this may be the mod for you. Don't get me wrong, I love my DNA's and I own 6 of them. I also own 4 FSK mods and I just find myself constantly reaching for them over every other mod I own. There is also a lot to be said for their warranty and customer service. They're vapers and they get it. They are very accommodating should something ever go wrong.

Sorry people, I missed the Hohm tech G2 thread, I tend to make posts when I have questions, I will go to there for reading and advice :).

Sounds like they are very solid mods though, I will have to look around as if they are available for $50 then I will order from overseas vs the £115 price in the UK.

If I could get one for just $50 it will be a no brainer and I will definitely add one to the collection, that is a big price difference and works out to around £40!
Thank you for the advice.

I have one I bought for $65 on a sale 7 months ago. They are a solid mod. Well built and the chipset is decent. Battery life seems a bit shorter than a DNA, but I'm caning my Goon with dual stapled claptons at 115 watts. :giggle:

Thank you all for your replies, and not jumping on me for making another thread. I realise I shouldn't of though, so do apologise. I tend to just ask what I am thinking, and sometimes forget there may already be a great thread going on.

Sounds like they are very good mods, and especially at the price point. Come next payday I will be hunting down the cheapest G2, hopefully the other thread will be a help there. Even with shipping it should work out pretty cheap :).
