Homewrecker G2 with Uwell D1 issue

Hi all,

I'm using a wrecker G2 with Unwell D1 .5 ohm coil and having the resistance reading jump around from .54 to .59 while vaping.

Was wondering if anyone else had this issue? All other tanks keep the same initial ohm reading.

Also having issue with the wattage up down getting stuck in increments of .5 .

Should I reflash the current update?

If it is a factory coil that would be normal.
Depends on the metal tho mine bounces only due to it being ss, Contacts are good but as it heats it increases resistance.
I stopped using titanium due to it bouncing a ton.

OK gotcha, it must be the SS then. Kind of a pain to have the keep adjusting wattage due to ohm changing. Weird that it does that.

Good time to use the device in temp control mode. Set the wattage you wish to fire at, the temp you want to max out at, and vape away. It's great with SS coils.

Right on. I was trying to use it in temp in 316 and also xxx mode but couldn't get it to vape well. I need to find the link to the fsk chart I've seen floating around. I can't seem to get it to open all the way in my mobile.

In xxx mode, just play with the fsk number to get the vape you want. Set it for the watts and temp. If too cool, raise the fsk in increments of 5 or 10. If too hot, lower the fsk. The number will change depending on the type/brand/alloy of the wire used.

The preset for SS on the G2 is fantastic especially after the latest update. I get the best results for SS with the FSK set at between 10.5- 12% in XXX mode. That being said Uwell has a well documented history of producing janky coils. I'm not sure about the new ones but the original Crown coils had nickel legs and that caused some problems running it in TC with some boards.

Not sure what is they're using but I don't get good results in as mode. Tried 12% not much there, bumped it to 16% and it works great!
