Horizon Arctic Question

Just cleaned my Arctic and when I went to put it together I saw that there is an o ring on one end of the pyrex glass. does this go on the top or bottom (by base or by mouthpiece)

The other side should have an o ring stuck in it. You'll be able to see it. I want to say that's the bottom. But my tanks full.

What I mean by this is, the other o ring is in the metal.

Both sides have an oring so if only one is on the glass there should be an oring in either the top or base of the tank holder.

yah there isn't one stuck on either end, that's why I was asking......there is only one on the glass itself. Blackjack - you took yours off and you only have one and its on top?

I have 3 Arctic's and have cleaned them all several times, each one has 2 o rings. If you are missing one and it did not leak before you cleaned it, then you lost an o ring. Go pick up a new o ring at Lowes.

I can assure you there are o-rings at each end - if you're sure one isn't stuck to the metal, it means you lost one.

Let me know what you find!
Mine was attached to glass at the bottom while one oring stayed in the top. You can barely see but it's foggy up top, that's the oring.

First picture is bottom. Second is the top. It does come out so if it's not there you lost it.... But there should be one at both ends, like everyone else was saying.

Hey guys, i have a crown tank and a few kanger subs, thinking about getting a arctic for rotation. I dont care if it drinks juice, im a cloud chaser. Should i pull trigger?

Sounds like crown or tfv4 (tvf4?) are the two top dogs for clouds.

Artcic is good, I have one. Good clouds but I will say my tobeco super tank using aspire coils gives the same cloud with more flavor.

If it were me, I'd try one of the newer tanks.

I will second for the Tobeco Super Tank. Has better flavor and I love the top fill.

I've only got the Kanger and Arctic - I prefer the Arctic, wife prefers the Kanger. Neither particularly blow me out of the water, and I still mostly drip at home.

If anything I'm looking at a Crown as an upgrade, it seems as @fq06 noted those and the TFV4 seem to be the latest darlings of the tank world.

The Crown is superb, i would get another one but sometimes you want to experiment and or need another tank
For the rotation.

If that's the case I'd be looking at the TFV - the Arctic was a jaw-dropper when it launched six months ago, but it's been passed by and will probably stay in my rotation only until I run out of coils (if I don't get my socks knocked off by the Crown and decide to PIF it sooner).

The Arctic is a great tank in my opinion.

My opinion is when the Arctic is right, its really right. Not much harshness for the amount of cloud it produces at various wattages. And while it drinks juice, its not as much as a tfv4 or even a Crown.

Now for the negatives. Air flow does not lock, it fills from bottom, smaller capacity, glass does not swap out. All minor considering the reasonable price.

Heres where I struggle with Arctic. Given the cool comfortable vape, I will take long slow drags like with an analog. Very easy to burn out my 0.5 coils doing this, even at lower watts. Not sure if it goes in drawer or I buy more coils.......

For comparison, my Herakles is a warmer harsher vape. Using it in the car is out of the question, unlike the Arctic. Bigger clouds, and the coils do last. My throat prefers the Arctic as the daily driver though.

Either has better taste than Atlantis V2, which is not terrible with the 0.3. The Crown coils are too hit and miss for me at least. Have not tried Starre Pro but many good reviews. TFV4 over the top for me, but probably the king at the moment.
