How can I get a fizzy effect into a juice?

Currently working on a vodka & redbull, champagne, fruits & lemonade concoction, tasting great but would love to get a fizzy sensation into the mix, any ideas on how to do this? Ingredient and/or additive?

I'm curious as well.
I've had some retail colas, etc. that had a surprising simulation of carbonation.
Don't know how. Good question.

I'm sure someone one will chime in. I remember from reading something about a pink champagne helping with this. Not sure about the what vendor to use.

I have a bottle of that (FA? or is it INW), but I used it mixed with other white wine and light berries not straight up. Didn't notice the level of "fizz".

Well... we should call in the "pro from Dover"... @HeadInClouds. :p

Subscribed.

I have never done a cola type vape, because I just don't enjoy cola vapes. But I am subscribing to learn about the carbonization effect, if it can be put into juice for the knowledge aspect.

I was always told that "champagne" is how they add the fizz. I am assuming they mean the flavoring

TPA champagne definitely doesn't add any 'fizz' ;-)
I have never really experienced the fix even with champaign juices but that was just what everyone had always told me on how to achieve it lol.

IME, FA Cola has that factor about it. TFA Citrus Punch, as well. I've also heard the same about TFA Champagne, but haven't tried it.

Purely a mind trick as our brain associates the fizz with certain flavors.
Like Coke & Champagne...
Some get the fizz, and some don't.

I dont know about mind trick. I have a juice made by Cosmic Fog called Cola Gummy that has an unmistakable fizz/carbonation effect to it. You can almost feel it on your tongue like drinking a fresh soda. Its definitely there, no doubt. I dont know much about diy and different flavorings/effects, but maybe try contacting different companies who have these types of juices and see if they might let you in on the secret if nobody here knows. Cosmic Fog would be a good starting point.

Barring confirmation, I have to disagree.
it's certainly something I wondered about quite a while ago with the colas.
Obviously, there appears to be an actual physical sensation... for me.
For now, I believe it's produced in some way. But how?

But the mind is indeed a tricky thing. Questions, questions. :p

I'm one of those that doesn't get any fizz from cola flavorings.
So if they use anything IDK.

I agree with this. I also agree that not everyone will experience it. I like FA Cola and I think it's a pretty dead on flavor, but not everyone likes it, or feels the same about it. For me, I think the authenticity of the flavor is why I think it has that fizz about it. Same for the Citrus Punch from TFA. Same as some get that affect and flavor from the TFA cola, but not everyone experiences that either.

Well, like an intelligent adult, I'm aware that my brain plays tricks.
They're usually not helpful. Pareidolia comes to mind. :p

I'll roll with this one if that's what it turns out to be.

eta: of course... knowing how the magic trick is done usually ruins the effect. :(

Three theories:

1. It's psychological (already discussed).

2. It's an acid. Citric acid is used in some flavorings, and in colas. You can buy it. It's used as an ingredient to bump up acidity without the taste of vinegar or lemon/lime juices.

3. It's some chemical added to juice, that when heated to vaping temperature, creates carbonic acid. H2CO3.

I can't imagine adding citric acid would yield good results unless going for a sour flavor.
Citric Acid is the exact stuff used to make sour stuff sour.

Candy like warheads and toxic waste are sour due to the citric acid coating.
Same with sour patch kids, lemon heads, etc.

There's an additive I use, to get better TH since I've always used fairly low nic, and now very low (5mg) -- FA's Flash. It's made with piperine, which comes from black pepper, and it really does provide more of the necessary "tingle." Some might feel it as similar to "fizzy" -- a fresh Coke kinda burns my tongue, but it's just the fizzy sensation doing it.

Believe it or not that INW Tea & Quince at 1% tastes like carbonation. I mix in 1.5% of FLV Grape to make a grape soda.
