How can I make my own E-juice?

How can I make my own E-juice?
Where should i buy the PG, VG and the flavour?
I'm guessing that's all I need. I also want it to be nicotine free.
The ratio I want is 60% PG and 40% VG or 80% PG and 20% VG.
Since I prefer the throat hit and the flavour over the clouds.

What ingredients should I avoid? I want to make a healthy E-juice and I have heard that there is some things I should avoid.

I have downloaded a E-juice calculator mixer, but when I set the Nicotine to 0mg, i get an error.
I would be thankfull if someone could point out all the things i need and important stuff when mixing my E-juice.

Yes my friend...there is a little more to it than that....but with you being in Europe I couldn't tell you where to get your supplies from....Since you're going for nicotine free you might be able to get them shipped out of the US but I would try googling UK suppliers and Mainland EU to start. I know Flavourart is based in Italy and they make some good flavoring...Which calculator did you download? some of them you have to put in 0 for your nic strength and 0 for your target strength or you will get an error message. Another thing to keep in mind is that most flavors are PG based and you need to look at what base is because they can also be VG or alcohol based and that effects your mix ratios. If you're wanting a 60/40 PG/VG mix and all of your flavor is PG based for example then you are going to want start with your VG because that will be 40 percent, then you are going to want to add your flavors and then whatever PG base after that to make up the rest of your mix. Then you're going to want to shake it thoroughly and then leave it set with the cap off after you've taken a taste test in a dark corner for a couple days and let it steep remembering to shake it once a day....after about a week you should have a well steeped/mixed nic free liquid.

This is a very basic explanation of course...you should look threw the DIY section around here and see what you can find...there are several recipies around there to get you started and much more detailed instructions for sure. But let me know what calculator you're using...most of them have instructions you can google and/or download as well.

I figured out the calculator and put the ratio 60% PG and 40% VG. Since the flavour is 100% PG, the calulator shows that I should use same amount of PG as VG even tho I put 60/40 ratio. This is probably because of the flavour is PG based. The calulator I use is ''Ejuice me up''

I don't have any problem with mixing now or where to get the supplies. I just have a problem with where I should keep my E-juice or how long it should be in a dark room. I just saw a youtube tutorial where a game lives his e-juice in a room for 5-7 days and shakes the bottle every 24 hours. I'm not sure if this is something I need to do, or just a preference.

Please don't misunderstand me...but I said all of what you said in my post....since the flavor is PG based it's counted as part of your total pg...so if you want 60 percent PG and 20 percent of your total mix is flavor you would put 40 percent VG, 40 percent PG, and the flavor would make up the other 20 percent of your PG making your mix 100 percent complete.

You don't have to put it a dark room and shake it once a day for a week but its a good idea for best results. It's the same thing I recommend

You are on track, now just add your flavoring..

you might want to start low and work up.. I suggest using single flavors first.. unless you want to just jump into a recipe and create it..

small advice.. start low.. that way you can add more if needed..
if you start too high, then you have to figure out how low to go..

What do you suggest I start with?

I also calculated the cost of making 30ml ejuice and compared it to buying 30ml of ejuice.
If you say that 1000ml PG costs around 12.7 dollars and 1000ml VG costs around 12.7 and 30 ml flavour costs 12.7 dollars.
This is the prices I found.
Making 30ml Ejuice costs 2.8 dollars
Bying 30 ml Ejuice costs 15 dollars

This number was calulaed with 20% flavour without nicotine. Doesn't matter what ratio of PG and VG I use since they costs the same.

This is the prices here in Norway atleast. Why doesn't everyone make them? : o
If you're a big viper there is a lot of money to save.

depends on the brand of flavoring.. on where to start with what.
some brands call for 1-2% (flavourart) and others need from 2-10 maybe 12% (the flavor apprentice and capella)

as for pricing.. the calculator i use is:

there are links to suggestive charts around the diy area here, and on the net, you might want to look at them..
or test them out for yourself and see where you like your flavoring. find your happy spot..

like i said, it's easier to start low, and hard to put what you do not need back into the bottle..

I can't think of a better person to get DIY advice from. She will steer you right in these matters every time.

You kinda have to start low on flavor and add more to taste...it's much easier to add a little more flavor than to add more pg and vg base to thin the flavor out. And remember, the flavor is going to change a little over time...it may get stronger, it may get weaker...Starting low like Smoky said and adjusting as needed for taste than saving the right percentage when you find it is the easiest way to do it if you're just making a single flavor liquid like that. It's a little different when you're blending multiple flavors to create an exotic and complex blend but it's good to start with learning and getting a feel for balancing one or two flavor liquids at first...then find someone's recipe that they've been nice to share and try mixing that and see if you like it. And then play with it a bit to make that recipe to your own liking... once you've got that down and got a good feel for blending flavors then you can start trying to come up with some creations of your own.
