For the life of me, I just can't seem to figure it out. It should be fairly simple, but I just can't figure it out.

Here's a pic of a dual coil I did so you can see what I mean:

So what I do is I leave a longer leg on one side.
Doing this you will have room to manipulate the coil in any direction.
With the screwdriver I lift and pull the coil and push in the direction I need it to go, with ultimately adjusting it to be centered. After a few times of doing this, you will get the feel for it.

Also, maybe check this thread out:

Leaves your legs a few centimeters longer then you usually would anduse a screwdriver the same inner diameter and that has a 'shoulder' to push against. AS you push towards the center, pull out to keep the coils tight.

Yeah, that's been my problem when trying to position these builds. No "shoulder" to use to manipulate the coil. The CoilMaster V3 is just too big to try and move the coil around. But, now that I think about it, if I remove the shaft and use it to move the coil around, there should be sufficient room to do so.

Thanks!

Simply make your coils with longer legs and manually shape them with needle nose pliers before installing them in your RDA. (2-90 degree bends per leg) Makes for a much neater end result than trying to push the coil around after. Good luck.

Go to the dollar store..you can buy a precision screwdriver set for like $3.00...the most common sizes are 2mm 2.5mm and 3mm and it comes with all 3..Also an SAE set available.
