Pics would definitely help. Have you tried pushing the whole top pin down with your thumb?

I'm assuming your problem is that the 510 contact pin isn't sticking below the threads, correct? What mod are you running this on?

It's probably not one that the pin is threaded. Try pushing the center post down like @OBDave suggested.

That's the insulator.. Can you take a side picture of the threads on the bottom. I want to see if the center pin comes out past the threads at all.
Also what device are you using this on?

Try to GENTLY pry the center pin up on the mod with a precision flat head screwdriver. May be you pushed down the pin tightening on whatever you used before the rda.

Some times shitty atomizers get made like this. The center pin should be thin enough to touch the center of the rda pin without shorting out.

Might sound simple. Have you adjusted the screw on the bottom of the atty?

Makes me think that is where the problem is.
It might not be stripped just apply moderate pressure when you unscrew slightly. Sometimes, they will feel like they are stripped because of the way they set in against the insulator. The only thing to counter this from my experience is what Curly mentioned.

I have no experience with those.
My guess is once you get a better mod, your atty should be more suitable.

Mvp 2 is a solid device actually the one I learned about the prying trick on. How do you like the kf4? I was disappointed with the restrictions of airflow in my 3.1 so wasn't even interested in the 4

I like the mvp2 but I am actually looking at the cobler mini I wanna get next month :) but for the kayfun v4 I love it you can change the look of it so much the airflow is decent but not like the delta2 or even the ego one atty. But I don't think it was worth the 160 dollars. I think the next one I'll get is the sub box mini with the new sub tank mini it looks nice and airflow for lung hits is amazing just like one the delta 2

The power limit and the connector are the two con's with that mod. One can be fixed.

Mine was good, I only had to adjust that pin when I used an excessively long 510 pin like on my magma. But yeah, I need more power. It was fine early in my vaping career, but I could never go back to that low...

Yeah, I haven't used my mvp in quite a while. The lowest I go now is 16.5w with my Kayfun. Much higher with an rda. It served me well when I was using it. Well, except for when the connector ate shit. The fdv 510 made it better than new so I ended up being happy that I was forced to figure out a fix.
