How do u know when to wash ur coil? After two tanks Fills? I have both clearos and sub tanks

How do. I get to use the bottom of ur juice in ur tank? I haye wasting .juice

Also when I only had 1 tank I would wash everything, but I would leAve the Coil to air dry and would use paper towels to dry the glass & metal parts and I would use a new coil. Then when it was time to wash/change the Coil again I would wash the tank and everything again , dry it, let the Coil air dry and use the other Coil that is now Dry .. I HAD misplaced some of the used coils, do they go bad after they been used and let out to dry and just left unused for about a week or two?

How do u know how big the holes can be drilled into ur tank to upgrade it?

How do u get better taste? Is there anyway that u an.get better taste out if a tank that uses pre made coils? Is the only way to get better taste is to use an RDA / RBA ?

When using rebuildables How do u get better tatse?

I'm assuming this is a clearo-type question, moving this thread over there...

What kind of tank specifically are you using? With throw-away coils, I generally try to keep the same juice (or at least a similar, complimentary flavor) going for a week or two, at which point I'll just toss the coil. With old-style Kanger single coils, I could probably run 15-20 ml of liquid through one, which is actually quite a bit considering how long liquid lasts in the older-generation clearos. With my sub-tanks, I'll get at least 30-40 ml through a coil before replacing it...

Some replacement coil heads can even be rebuilt. I got started with building coils, when I recoiled my Kanger Protank 2 (single coil). You could do a google search for your tank like "rebuilding Kanger Protank coil". Replace the Kanger Protank with the name of yours. If it shows video tutorials, you can watch them and learn how to do it.

What subtank are you using that you only get 40mls before you replace the coil? and do yo mean your own build or a stock coil

I used the same coil on a kanger subtank mini (stock .5 coil) for 3 weeks with no issue and i vape 10-15ml a day

My Kanger subtank .5ohm occ (throwaway head) replaceable coil can be rebuilt fairly easily although I find myself almost exclusively using the rba head for it. And with the 7ml capacity in my subtank I have to top it off daily so since I have the tank apart to full anyway I just give the coil a little visual inspection and when it looks like it's really rusted (not really rust but it gives u the idea) I pull the wick and dry burn the coil til all the juice comes out of the coil and the build up starts to burn then with a paper towel I wiped off the crustys wait for the coil to cool rewick and prime the wick then refill tank and she's good as new I probly get three to four wicks per coil before the coil finally breaks and I 're wick abt every four to five days maybe three days if I'm Vaping heavy..
As far as wasting juice I have two or three flavors I always use and conveniently they all three mix pretty good together so when I change flavors I either and the new flavor to what's left in the tank or I'll dump what's left in the tank into my empty 30ml bottle of what I call frankenjuice and sometimes I even like just a full up of that as opposed to any single flavor...for me personally and I don't know abt others but I realized that at first I changed my coils and wicks way way too often wicks have a life cycle and if u change too early u may never get the best possible flavor out of the wick I think the late second day into the third day has best flavor on a wick and I suggest getting organic cotton or cheese cloth don't just use cotton
balls out of the bathroom closet I thought the organic cotton thing was bs at first too why pay more for cotton I got this big bag at home already but the organic does taste so much better

I'm probably getting more than that, just venturing a guess...the Subtank mini I have isn't my go-to device and only sees maybe 3-4 tanks through it a week. My Arctic and RDAs get a lot more use. After having the Subtank for probably about two months, I'm still on my second OCC coil.

Yeah I hear conflicting info. That washing coils is pointless as it diminishes flavor. That u should jst use it and refill it with the same juice until u notice the flavor chanhe or "drop" . WHICH would depend on the juice on how many tank fills that would take ...

Others say to wash the coils with distilled water or Vodka

What I would mention, from long ago trial and error, is that washing/rinsing throw away coils, generally ruins them or at least 95% of the time, I run them until they are dead and throw them out

Ditto. I tried soaking them in water and ever clear, both did not work well at all. So far the best and longest lasting coil I've found has been the Herakles plus. I ran the Kanthal and SS coil (each in a separate tank) for around a month before I finally changed them. They still were going strong but looked pretty gross down the barrel. I probably could have gone longer but changed it anyways. Another coil that has long life is the crown tank, FYI.
