So ive said it a few times. I vape both DL and MTL. My normal daily vape lately has been either a Petri RDA, or indestructible, both with a SS fused Clapton build at 65-70 watts on the dna 200- or- Aeolus at 50 with a 24g build . Then in the evening when I relax, I go to either the NarDA on my REO or a kf4, aqua or elrkoenigin at 22w for mouth to lung.

I know a lot of us tend to walk both sides of that fence, but quite frankly there is not a whole lot of MTL gear newly coming to market, at a reasonable price. The tanks I mentioned above were far from cheap. Recently the Calix, GEM2 and even the new Russian that came out were all expensive. I'm looking to see what you guys use, that is a reasonably priced mtl vape. RDA or RTA, preferably single coil.

I saw the shorty mtl thread, but I thought I would start this, since not all MTL tanks are short.

Augvape and I are in the process of bringing you a budget friendly RTA suitable for m2l and d2l :) I know this group is being left behind in the "affordable" category. If all goes as planned, maybe 2-3 weeks?

I'll be watching this thread and assisting if I can, being that I was a m2l vaper for a long time. I've owned a huge number of RTAs in this category, and some RDAs as well.

I'm holding hope for that.
I was hoping the cthulu would e it, with the singe coil deck... that thing was an ok vape when it wasn't relieving itself all over my mods.

mostly I'm sick of watching the prices in the category go from 100$ to 250$
ive owned all of the major players.. the taifun 1 and 2, erlkoenigin, squape, squape rs, kayfun 3.1, kayfun4, ruzgar, and hurricane, erlprinze

the last one is the only one I can really recommend for somene looking authentic, 200$ is a big investment for a tank; especially wen you don't know if you will or wont like it.

I'll jump in here, I'm pretty much mtl. Even on a couple tanks with more open airflow I tend to mtl, though I do occasionally dtl instead. I truly don't have much too offer this thread right now, as I haven't found the gear yet that I love. I'm kinda waiting to see what Roxy and Augvape have coming for us though.

Just was watching a video and the smm guy was saying that the Theorem, which I guess he had some input on, will be pretty good for mtl with some airflow settings.
I don't like the airflow on the theorem, it reminded me of the indestructible atty and IT SUCKS...

Totally MtL tootle puffer here. A semi-odd duck, because I use RDAs; the Achilles is the best tight-draw RDA EVER, and i wish to hell they were still available.

i'm a full-time MTL'er and squonker.

14mm attys such as the viper and nutz are the bomb for MTL.

as for 22mm attys, my dad (who is also a fulltime MTL'er) rocks the kayfun lite plus still.. he has 2 of them with all the bells and whistles... these authentic attys can be had cheap... used but still in great condition

I'm still stuck on my herakles and starre tanks, I don't rebuild though. I believe the starre has an rta deck and their coils fit both of the tanks I have. I'm way behind in the latest stuff, tried the griffin but it had wayy too much airflow for mtl. Bout choked to death.

Both the tanks I use can be had for less than $25 too, which is their main selling point to me. No screwing around to make them work. No leaking or dumping or issues. It's literally plug and play, which is exactly what I wanted

Installing good higher resistance coils can be a major pain, the last set I bought I fried (mainly because I was being a dumbass, but still it's not easy).

It's a chore. I hate mixing too
Overall it's very worthwhile. The coil changing happens every few months (unless I want to change earlier for some reason), it's just the wick changing that's about weekly (just like your premade coils) and once you get used to it, it only takes a few extra minutes over the premades and again worthwhile for the better flavor/vape. Though... I'm lazy as well and can't blame you. It's kind of a hobby/stress relief thing for me at this point. Get home do maintenance on one of the setups, as I vape. Rotate which setup each day... I have 8 of them I use now :p
