How much nicotine for MTL?

Hey guys, I'm new here and hope I'm posting this in the right place.

Well anyway. I'm considering buying a Kayfun atomizer, but I've no idea how much nicotine I'll want to vape.

I've vaped 3mg on a TFV8 baby (around 60W) and now I'm vaping 1mg-1.5mg on a TFV12 (at 130W) and that seems to work for me. However, as far as I understand, I'll need to increase the nicotine level in my liquid to get a similar hit strength from an MTL atty.

And therefore I'm asking - how much nicotine might work for me? As an example, on a 1.5ohm coil?

Thanks in advance, any answers much appreciated!

You don't necessarily need to increase your nicotine in going to a mtl. Some people do it because they get more cravings at higher ohm/lower wattage, but unless you're getting the craving for a cigarette you don't need to increase the nic.
Edit to add.. if you did increase your nic usage, most people who stick with mtl tend to be between 6-18mg so you would have to decide what works best for you. You can start higher and wean your way down, or start lower and only increase if you find you're not getting what you need

First of all, thanks for the quick reply! You see, I've never really been a smoker, but I like the nicotine high I get from vaping, and I'd like that from an MTL as well. Are you saying I'll get it with 3mg?

PS: What about PG:VG ratio? I am currently vaping >80 vg, will that be fine?

EDIT: Asked a friend for help, ordered 50/50 6mg, will see how it works. Thanks for help!

I'm only using 2 or 3mg for MTL and it works fine for me.
However I also run 70/30VG which has a little more TH...

If you've never been a smoker, you might find 6mg a bit much -- I smoked for 39 yrs, and started with 6mg, using a cigalike! But it's easy to tell if it's too much nicotine: little stabby pains in the abdomen, dizziness, jitters, heartburn, hiccups, nausea, even vomiting... all are possible from nic OD, even when slight. Bad thing about vaping is that the absorption is quite slow compared to smoking, so by the time you feel it, you've already vaped more than enough to give you those symptoms.

As for the PG/VG... as long as that high VG doesn't make you feel like you need to clear your throat all the time, or have a hairball in your lungs that you can't get rid of, you should be fine.
