Neil Patrick Harris is a die hard Disney fan – specifically of Disney parks. As a result, the busy actor has already been involved for quite awhile in various ways with Disney, including taking part each year in Epcot’s Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL and providing the vocal tracks for the California Screamin’ coaster at Disney's California Adventure at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.
Now, Harris can be seen by guests on a nightly basis in a big way at California Adventure, as he stars, alongside none other than Mickey Mouse, in the newly revamped World of Color show. Tied into several major events Disneyland Resort has launched as part of Disneyland’s 60th anniversary, the new show is called “World of Color – Celebrate! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney” and focuses on the history of Walt Disney himself – from his creation of Mickey Mouse, to his animated films to Disneyland. Harris and Mickey appear throughout the show as part of the large, projected images that appear on walls of water, intermixed with elaborate lighting and special effects to immerse the audience.
