I'm originally a WV transplant (thus the handle) and I'd been smoking for well over 20 years, mostly travelling on the light desert dromedary. I'd gone the usual route, gum, patches, accupuncture, two different kinds of medicines, and the most success I'd ever had was four months.
I used a couple convenience store cigalikes and they were just enough to show me it could work, and just frustrating enough so I didn't have much success. Then I took a new job where a guy had an SVD and a protank. This guy was a former 4-pack a day smoker, and he had quit. I started with a CE clearomizer and a 650 MAh ego, and from there an MVP 2.0 and an aerotank.
During the work week, I would still have an analog or two, but never on weekends. Then my mother-in-law found a tumor. She had never been sick in her life, never been in the hospital except to have her two children, but she had been a smoker all of her adult life. I haven't had an analog since the day we found out - July 22 of 2014. She's still fighting, but because of where the tumor is, they can't cut it out. It's migrated to new territory, and she probably doesn't have long. She even quit with a mini PT3 and evod battery, but it was too late.
I have quit though, and I and everyone around me are glad I did! I'm glad to meet y'all!
