I have the cleito tank on a cuboid and I cannot unscrew the tank from my mod!!! any suggestions on what to do

I use a rubber pad when that happens. Wrap it around the base of the tank. It'll give you the extra grip needed. And remember, lefty loosey...

Here there be Whales

Easiest way is wrap the tank in some tape. I prefer duct tape and just twist off. It works every time for me

I used a small pair of vise grips with the curved jaws one time.. Just had to be careful but it did the trick...

I used pliers but it scratched my tank, then tried to wrap paper towel around the pliers it still did not work.. I found out that the best way is to use rubber gloves! worked fairly easy. thanks for the suggestions

Those corny "robogrips" from sears/craftsman, I have some duct tape wrapped around them, the get a great perfect fitting grip and are gentle while doing it. I know a couple folks with some very stuck kanger minis that it's always done the trick for. I use them on all my pricey SS tanks without any marring. Good luck

Robogrips are versatile little tools. There are soft slip on jaw covers that work great with stuck tanks.

This is where these come in handy, someone had one in the vape shop, and it worked pretty damn good getting a Nautilus of an iStick, and then getting the base off the tank. Plus ceramic tweezers. I've been meaning to get a pair myself

@Whiskey , thanks for tossing up some links!

I know they're also on originvape , and I'm pretty sure I've seen them on Fasttech at one time or another

It's a pretty neat idea. Handy little tool to toss in the vape kit

This happens with my crown tank. It gets stuck where you unscrew the bottom to change the coil. It just gradually tightens itself I guess as I screw it on and off mods. It's really annoying. I have weak wrists so I usually resort to pliers. It occasionally gets stuck on my Koopor. A rubber band usually gives me the extra grip to get it loose.

LOL. It highlighted rubber band and sends you to a link for them. That was totally unintentional.

Use a rag or paper towel with a pair of these. Works on every thing you need it to and for bigger jobs get a larger size~!

When all else fails, the ultimate low tech solution...regular tape folded lengthwise, sticky side out. Put pieces on each part of what you're trying to unscrew. Gives "traction" without killing your hands.
