I heard somewhere (I forgot) that sometimes there could be oil in your tank that makes the juice taste metallic or even burnt. Occasianally I taste that. Now, I've washed my tank (aerotank mega) and I'm kinda worried, if I taste that and it's "oil" or something, is it harmful to me?

i spent 15 years working with machining oil, you will be fine. Just make sure to wash them out first, in the future, hot water and a drop of dawn, then dry them thoroughly.

Machine oil can be on any part of an atomizer as a residue from manufacturing. It is recommended to disassemble and thoroughly wash an atty of any kind before first use. Machine oil is a pretty distinct taste and you are not likely to mistake it for "burnt". Sometimes repeated washings are needed. You can use dish soap and hot water or some people prefer alcohol. Whatever you use rinse well, put it back together and draw though it when empty to see if you get an off taste. If so, do it again.
