nice. love the tsunami 24. great RDA. I couldn't get into the notch coils though, throw dual fused claptons in it though and it'll give amazing flavor

Got them black covers on. I bought my rx200s when they first came out and only color available was the grey/silver. Now they have like 6 different colors. Wanted the black/red but don't need another 3 battery's mod. So to make myself feel better I got the black cover/battery door...

I would like a black battery cover for my DNA200. Red is nice though. I guess I got a bum one because it does not quite fit but very close. I mean it goes on but it moves about .5mm. This may be the new qc of this device though. Including RX. The first ones were top notch fit and finish. Recent ones I saw also had gaps, front and back. So, perhaps that is just what you get now. If yours looks great to you than that is terrific. This is my favorite mod but I have the DNA. Either way this thing is top notch. Even if there are now tiny gaps which is nitpicking really. My Triade lasted six days after it ripped the batteries and shorted. All of the Wisemec have nice and easy battery insertion but do not rattle. Regardless of if it is RX this is the only mod I am interested in currently. To the OP, that does look very nice. Black looks good but of course I cannot get the front cover for mine. Unless I Dremel it.

Lol now that I lost my original door it does on the Reuleaux too. My original door was perfect. It seems to me they cut back on tolerances to save some money. Don't know. Or I got a bum door. The Triade door moves a lot. Quite frankly the Triade is a POS compared to the Reuleaux. That is just IMO. Sure, you get the little piece of leather. I wonder how long that lasts? Assuming you don't short the damn batteries well ahead of time. Wrestling with it sucks in the first place. The Reuleaux they just pop right in and out as well. Mad I lost my door because this thing was perfect. Which is why I got the Triade but that was obviously a mistake. I will not even send it in because the design is flawed and quite frankly dangerous. The RX is still great if you need to spend less and I am glad they offer it. Not sure why the DNA does not come in colors. I am sure they sell many more RX.

They do make doors for the Triade in ostrich, and many more leathers like circumcision byproduct...... But the quality sucks..... Mine is a month old and loosing pieces of leather.......

Wouldn't pass anything by those Chinese folks.IMAG1885.jpg

I just figured that thing is a POS. I knew this about the leather. The Reuleaux is/was actually decent quality. Now let's not forget how the Chinese folks treat animals. Let alone exotic ones. You know, I can do without the bs leather that falls apart. Buying The Triade to me was a simple waste of $170. Yes, I bought at a B&M. When I had a perfectly functioning Reuleaux. I cannot say it is the best quality but certainly above the Triade. Live and learn i guess.

Interestingly there seems to be no Reuleaux DNA200 here. No wonder the Triade is more popular because it looks fancier. If it keeps working the leather wil degrade anyways. I figured this. So I would rather have a mod that works. Regardless of it looks so fancy. Chinese leather goods are as cheap as everything else they make. Quality Italian exotic skins are not cheap.

I've had my triade for a couple months and have no issues. The battery's are a pain to get in and out. But the leather is holding up. Nothing is falling apart on it. Looks as good as the day I bought it. And I know a couple people that also own a triade for longer than me and have zero issues. Sorry to hear yours is falling apart. The rx have pos 510 pins. I rather have a triade any day.. just my 2 cents

The Triade has the same kind of 510. Watch a video of it. I am glad yours is holding up though.
The Triade 510 is vastly superior to Joyetech's/Wismec's 510 pins. The wiring inside is vastly superior. They both have the battery wrapper ripping rings. There is nothing about the Reuleaux that is better than the Triade.

Cheers,
Steve

Squeeze the battery cover in your hand to tighten up the fit. I have to do that to my rx200 every few months when it starts to get a little sloppy.

Actually you guy's arfe right. Sort of. When the Reuleaux DNA200 first came out(mine) it was much higher quality. Better 510 even though it looks similar to the new one. Well, not quite. The original 510 has a pointed cup at the bottom inside of the mod. The wiring was like twice the gauge of the new one. They most certainly cut quality by being able to now use all the same parts from the RX. However if you remove the bateries from the Triade and push on the 510 with a flat tip screw driver. You will find it hardly has any travel. It is about as bad. The old Reuleaux took almost no pressure to insert the batteries and certainly did not rip them. They do not rattle or fall out though. Shamefully they cut quality. That I will say. The original Reuleaux to the current Triade is similar quality except the battery sled is way easier. I count myself very lucky that I bought it when it came out. Now, I doubt I would enjoy the lack of quality. I lost my battery door and got a red RX one. The new battery door is not nearly the quality of the original either. I checked a new Reuleaux DNA200 and same junk, just a different color.

So you guys are mostly correct. At least now. Please do not say it was never god quality unless you owned it in the first few weeks it came out.
The Triade is impossible for me to use. As it will simply tear the battery wrappers, shorting the fuse as did mine. My Reuleaux is going after a couple of years. The Triade lasted me six days. Plus even if it was not riping the wrappers it is very hard on my fingers. Perhaps mine was an especially bad example. I don't know. It was so tight I almost needed to use a hammer to get the batteries in. Of course I did not do that but you get the idea. Perhaps I will Rma it. I do not wish to waste anymore batteries. It had ripped them after I re-wrapped them as well. Which is when it shorted the fuse. To me, that is junk. Not one that has worked for over two years. I agree it is probably better than the current Reuleaux. I handled one and indeed, it was junk. I gues they just cut way back on quality. I would not call the Triade high quality though. This is all Chinese junk. The old one included i am sure. Let's just be honest with each other. None of these are high quality USA made mods. Or European or Japanese for that matter. They do exist, but not these.

You can tighten the screws on the bottom of the RX200 and it will tighten the door some.... But it doesn't work on the Triade........

My bad, thought he was talking about the rx but still same style door. .. maybe a squeeze would tighten her up. Even if you go a little overboard (within reason) it will flex out to where it wants to be the 1st time you put it back on.

Mine will move up/down a hair if I try to move it but in the hand & use it doesn't budge. Can't expect 0.01 tolerances on a part like that.

One of my triades was a little loose when I got it. All you have to do is pull out the cover. Give it a little squeeze with you fingers at the far ends to tighten it just a little. It's really good if its a almost too tight fit when you go to slide it back on because it will just push it back out to proper size. Then it won't slide or shift anymore.

Go on eBay and order the panels you like they are around $15.00 Take batteries out and there are 6 or 7 screws you take out and the battery tray pops loose..... Move out of the way then you see 4 more screws that remove the face plate then it pops out......
Simple just keep the screws marked for each hole some are short and a couple longer.....
