I subohm, usually between; 0.14-0.20ohms. never higher sometimes lower. now usually I just use samsung 25r but I need something with more capacity....hard hitting. what do you recommend? mxjo? lg? Sony?
If on a mech, at your resistance ranges, as Andria stated the LG HB Series, though you are asking for more capacity, can't have both high CDR and high Mah in the same battery.
damn it for got to mention I only use mech mods and or parallel boxes.
The new Hohm Life batteries are pretty awesome! That hit hard! I tried the VTC5A and they sucked for me. Don't know if I got a bad one or what... I'm sticking with Hohm Tech!

They already said exactly what plant makes them. It's somewhere in Indonesia and they make them to hohmtechs specs. Hometech doesn't own a manufacturing plantUntil Hohm Tech can definitively prove they are actually making those batteries of theirs, IMO they a no different than the other re-wraps like Efest, IMRen and the others until proven otherwise, as in proof I mean a manufacturing plant with "Their" name on it, not sub-contracting it out to one of the actual battery manufacturers out there Like Sony, LG, Samsung and Panasonic/Sanyo
Aria oros v2, 4.15v is what I get. What mech mod has an output of 4.2v? I want it!
so order up some vtc5aS?Straight Single Battery Mech then my original post stands
Parallel Battery Box Mech
20amp X 1.5 being we gain safely only about 50% more CDR with the second battery = 30amp CDR total then the Samsung 30Q, Sony VTC6, or LG HG2 might work
25amp CDR X 1.5 = 37.5amps total available (Sony VTC5A, LG HD2/HD2C/HD4 these range from 2000mah to 2200mah but 25amp CDR, the VTC5A is still far better IMO)
30amp X 1.5 = 45amps CDR total available, still limited to the LG HB2, 4, 6 1500mah batteries
All in all, IMO still think the VTC5A will suit you best, though it is the same 2500mah as the 25R's you use, its voltage sustaining (harder hitting) properties as well as its pulse specs far outshine any battery in a mech atm, even the LG HB series.
Impressive/unbelievable with the ohms you run. Best I've ever got was 3.85 with a .2ohm with vtc5a on a raven mod.Aria oros v2, 4.15v is what I get.
Yep that is the only way to check or monitor the battery voltage with a meter while firing. The only way to really tell is with an inline volt meter between the mod and atty? I only ask because I've only ever owned a FUHATTAN mech and when I checked battery voltage on my ohm/voltage meter I was getting full 4.2V. Don't seem right for a shitty clone to have no voltage drop
lol I'm fucking around it's about 3.85 maybe a little higher but not much. it would be nice if it would vape at 4.2 that would be bad ass but the load given its not possibleImpressive/unbelievable with the ohms you run. Best I've ever got was 3.85 with a .2ohm with vtc5a on a raven mod.
Sony Vtc6... They are the ones..... Hard hitters all day on 100 watts....That's using (3) batteries..... Around a .16 ohm to .25ohmsI subohm, usually between; 0.14-0.20ohms. never higher sometimes lower. now usually I just use samsung 25r but I need something with more capacity....hard hitting. what do you recommend? mxjo? lg? Do it. Using them in my Purge Maelstrom mech mod on a sweet .11 ohm build.so order up some vtc5aS?
Wow, that is a HUGE tank there! What one is it? I don't think I have seen that one before, I guess it needs some high power builds to really get its full potential.Sony Vtc6... They are the ones..... Hard hitters all day on 100 watts....That's using (3) batteries..... Around a .16 ohm to .25ohms

modfather? probably. I know manny loves his mod father tanks.Wow, that is a HUGE tank there! What one is it? I don't think I have seen that one before, I guess it needs some high power builds to really get its full potential.

Yeah everybody know me by now.... Yep is my living '' Voltrove '' ....By Modfather of course......Wow, that is a HUGE tank there! What one is it? I don't think I have seen that one before, I guess it needs some high power builds to really get its full potential.

Wow. Most of my tanks and RDA's are 22-25MM, and a mad build for me would be a pair of fused claptons at say 80W.Yeah everybody know me by now.... Yep is my living '' Voltrove '' ....By Modfather of course......
This is (2) 5mm circumference coils, you can put a pencil through them.... They are SS316 (4)core and 1 exterior core.... So pretty big.... This is an 8 wrap.... Ohming at .24ohms.....

It's running good at 90 to 125watts all day.....Wow. Most of my tanks and RDA's are 22-25MM, and a mad build for me would be a pair of fused claptons at say 80W.
I don't have anything like that, but I am quite interested in it just due to it's size, it would be something different for the collection. What kind of wattage do you run that set up at?

sell me one!

Not for sale, these are my Armageddon back ups. ...sell me one!
For sure, a lot of confusion happens here with regulated vs unregulated mods and ideal batteries. There is a big difference between using say a triple 18650 mod at 60W vs a single 18650 tube mech at the same power. I favour higher capacity batteries most of the time in my dual and triple 18650 regulated mods, but use HE4's for my mechs. (I know the 25R performs a bit better in tests, but I prefer them for some reason). No just no they are not the cells to use in a mech at .1. They are fantastic in that boxer.
I use HB6 I sacrifice MAH for safety in unregulated and just swap more often.

Yeah man, I have bought a lot of stuff, I keep what works good and give away the stuff I don't like..... Sometimes I take 3 mods tear them apart and make a bad ass one...... Hawow,
back ups of back ups of back ups.
The material makes a difference... 316L fires very rapidly so less power is needed..... Building an (8)wrap alien with (4) wires that ohms at .20 that's the trick..... A .14 ohm needs a lot of power@MannyScoot that is quite surprising, I would of imagine a lot more power was needed for a tank of that size. I don't think that is too excessive and I wouldn't mind one of them myself.

I don't own any HB6's myself as I don't go very low, but for real low builds they are pretty much essential.
