NTG Cosplay is a cosplayer from Brooklyn, NY, who put together one of the coolest Pokemon cosplays we've ever seen - a Battle-Ready Gijinka Blastoise.
The costume took around 35 hours to finish, with some components bought online and modified, and some hand-made. NTG Cosplay told IGN, "The shell was totally built from scratch with insulation foam, PVC pipes, tons of hot glue, wood glue, paint, and lots of trial and error to figure out how to affix the shell to my back."

Regarding starting out as a cosplayer, NTG Cosplay said, "When I first started, I first did it because I thought it'd be awesome to dress up as someone that not many people were aware of and go to a con and see who could guess who I was. As I continued to do it and achieve success and a slight bit of fame (among my friends, at least), I felt like I wanted to do more, to push myself to do more complicated cosplays, to see how far I could go. As I did that, I noticed that the more risk I took with the different types of cosplay I challenged myself to do, the bigger the sense of accomplishment I felt when I completed it - actually, IF I completed it."
