I need help!! I got a solo mini a couple days ago,, beautiful green one and the matching Reaper tank. I've had nothing but issues. Every time I go to use it it asks me new or same coil. Every stinkin time!! I've tried changing coils, I've tried shitting it down and turnin it back on,, nothing works. Has anyone else had this problem?? It's annoying as hell!!!

I've had this happen with a different mod, but in time, it seems to have learned. I just keep hitting the "same" button, as long as it is the same. Eventually, it quit asking me.

I think @Breazy_Com has one, so maybe he can help more.

I have the asolo, and it occasionally does this. I take off the tank, wipe the 510 with alcohol on a q-tip, dry, do the same to the 510 on the tank, and it fixes the problem (sometimes I have to do this a couple of times).

Thanks girls. I tried that today Amanda,, it worked for about an hour. Now it's back to its old tricks. Screw it, I'll use my Vaporesso

I've been using the Asolo original and the mini for quite some time. The mini is really good as well as the original. They get a little quirky sometimes. Feel free to ask me any questions. What tank and coil are you using ? Have you tried a different coil or tank ? Let me know. I've had that happen and usually it's not the mods fault. It's usually a flaky coil.

I've been using a green reaper tank. Almost exclusively now that I think about it because,,, well, it just looks so darn good on it! This is going to sound stupid but it occurred to me that maybe it was telling me I needed to change the coil so I did. It didn't help.

So I just changed the tank,, a white reaper tank and it seems to be working fine. My Cubis tank also seems to work well. And my subtank is working as well. I guess it's that damn green tank! Which makes no sense to me,, the white one works just fine. Thanks for the help @Breazy_Com, much appreciated!!

Thanks Shark! I'll give it a try. It's just too darn pretty to not use it!

Glad you got to the bottom of it Kimber ! I really like the Asolos's. Nothing like the small size of them and when you got them set right they work awesome. The mini is a really cool design. No matter what hand you hold it in the fire button ends up at your thumb. Enjoy it !

@Shark Vape... I did what you suggested and backed the tank off a bit and it now seems to be working just fine! Enjoying some Grants Vanilla Custard I mixed a couple weeks ago. Thanks for the help!!

I love my solo mini with the aspire atlantis. I got the same issues for the first week or so, and kept getting a "low ohm" warning, sometimes it would hang in long enough to show me it thought it was at 0.02 ohms. I unscrew it and screw it back in a couple times and the problem goes away, cleaning the contact points helps a lot, too. I didn't get the problem with the Arctic V8 in it (when it had a .5 coil in it at least, not sure about the behavior on the .2s), so I'm leaning toward a pin problem.
