make sure you take the coil out, and wash it with warm water and dish soap. Then dry it completely. You might have to do this once or twice. I wash my tank out once a week. Also, your drip tip could be giving you this taste, wash your drip tip as well. I run alcohol through my drip tips then rinse well with warm water, I do not like the tips that come with the kanger. Hope this helps you.
This also, beleive it or not could be your juice. Based on if you mixed different juices or not.. I mixed my GQ pineapple and astro from space jam, just cause I was bored and it ruined my coil in my atty. so I rebuilt it, thinking it was just a bad coil, and it still tasted metallic when dripping the same juice. Maybe it's just my experiance?
