Hi There,
I wanna get into building, I've never done it, and I'm doing you tube school, on such.. I've seen just about all of them, and I want something fairly easy, maybe to start single coil.. I'm not looking to cloud chasing or do low omhs, I'm 54 years old and I just want lots of vapor, not clouds, lol, and good flavor, something inexpensive, reliable, and just easy to build .. I'm still not sure if I want just a rebuildable atty or tank , like the kayfun nano,
that looks cool, preferable clone.. Thanks, all suggestions welcomed :) :) :)

I think you have chosen a good thing to do @LisaG i would advise watching a whole load of youtube videos first to get to know tanks and ways to coil to help you base your decision on what direction to take. Demitris has a good mix of both rebuilding and tank reviews but there are plenty of others too https://www.youtube.com/user/VapinGreek/videos

for your first time, try to spend little money incase you dont like it. Here is a link to a rebuildable atty.
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Youde_UD_IGO_W_Rebuildable_Atomizer_p/yd-igow.htm
here is a good link to help you with building coils. Its a coil calculator.
http://coiltoy.ermeso.com/
here is an inexpensive RBA.
http://www.mtbakervapor.com/advanced-e-cigs/smoktech-rsst/
for going to 1.0 on your coils, you will need a device than can go to 15w
http://www.madvapes.com/the-groove-2.html
for going to .8 you will need a device that can go to 20w
http://www.vaportekusa.com/istick-by-eleaf-box-only/#aid=2170
a good device to start with if you want to be able to handle all of that and a little lower, get a 30w device.
http://focalecig.com/Product/HANAA-MODZ-Pack-DNA-30-StyleModGrey-19766?SSAID=843663
18650 battery size should be good.
Buy IMR batteries and a good charger.
You can get good vapor and clouds from certain tanks as well, here is Kanger coils at .8
http://www.vaporbeast.com/kanger-pr...-mini-protank-3-replacement-heads-5-pack.html
and here is a kanger tank that those will work in.
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger_Aerotank_Mega_p/kraet-kme.htm
Mechanical Mods are another device that does not regulate the watts or volts, a sample of those are here.
http://www.myvaporstore.com/SMOKTech_Magneto_Stainless_VE_p/smok-ssve.htm
also, if you build coils, get an OHM meter.
http://www.myvaporstore.com/2_in_1_Ohm_Voltage_Meter_p/ovm.htm
these are just a few suggestions. Hope you find what you need.

I agree with all of the above....or you can simply go with a good mechanical. Look for bare metal contacts such as copper, silver...or at least, silver plated brass. With that said...IMR BATTERIES ARE AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! One thing that Celtic Fog did leave out when building is to have an inexpensive resistance checker. Most all regulated mods have a resistance reading, but it's good policy to have a checker to compare readings...plus they make a cracking base upon which to build. Building whilst attached to any mod IMHO is a bad habit to get into. Cheers!

Thank You Franciscan, I have a k-100, it is my starting mech from vision spinner, It all sounds kinda scary, with the batteries and checking omhs, that's one of the things I will purchase first is an omhs meter.. I have 18650 s for mech now..

For good wicking, you will get lots of opinions too, Rayon, organic cotton and ceramic wick are often used.
Here is a link for some top shelf ceramic, hemp and cotton wicking, he is one of our owners and moderators too, nice guy.

Be comforted in knowing that all of us who build had the same misgivings before we fell down the rabbit hole. For some of us, we started back when only a fraction of the videos existed, and the product field was about 2% of what it is now. We were just a bunch of experimenters sharing our trials and errors.....just like we are now! As for Celtic Fog's last post just above.......I would "Like" that a dozen times if possible.

I used to have a terrible time trying to wrap very springy 32 guage wire around a piece of silica wick. Glad those days have gone.

The smaller ga wires it is easier to pre torch before coiling it removes the spring out of it.

For the larger ga it is needed to coil them correctly.

Here's my suggestion
Get a
Plume veil clone
Use the screw driver that comes with it
Use 26g wrap it 10 times
Configure the atty to single coil...
I hope this helps....make sure u use organic cotton and watch RIP TRIPPERS ON YT

some of the better brick and mortars that sell and USE rebuildables will build your device WITH you. Videos are great, but hands on with a "coach" is even better. I cannae tell you how many hours I've donated just hanging out and helping people with building over the years.

With that make sure it is not a newer vapor doing the coiling.. the ohm meter min. req is reading double digits. when going lower that extra percent can make a huge difference.

You don't care about clouds or building low ohm and you want easy but it has to have great flavor , thats easy , get a Magma clone . It's as good as it gets for flavor and it's not expensive . Two post design makes it cake to build on and it performs exceptionally well with a single coil build .

Wicking is as easy as it gets , pull through the coil and tuck both ends into the well , your done .

This! I have two of them and if they breathed as well as Plume Veils, I would have no issue declaring them my favourite. But despite that, I love them.

i watched rubyroo's video on the Magma last night
The Magma RDA - Clone vs. Authentic!
and considering the little if any diffence and huge gap in prices, it's a no brainer

Those days are gone , maybe for you , i still think it's a major pita lol. Damn silica just disintegrates when you start applying tension.

The Kayfun is as easy to build as you would like. I get what you say about the KF nano but RBAs go through E-Liquid pretty fast so you can keep the small tank as an option.

Get your wire from Temco and whatever wick you want. You will need a Bic type lighter for preparing your wire to wrap. You can wrap around a drill bit or a nail, some small needle nose pliers, a small wire cutter (those cheap nail cutter/file things will work just fine as well) and you are done with your supplies.

Now i only buy dripper's that have some capacity and leak very little if at all like the Veritas . Can vape that for awhile without refilling , Magma and Origen are pretty good in the capacity department also , they happen to be my three favorites.

Agree about Temco as well , as far as wire cutters for like Pro Tank heads , someone mentioned to just rapidly move the wire up and down until it snaps off as that will get you the closest without causing a short which i found out to be true .

I do use snips for RDA's and the like though.
