received several goodies from their long voyage from China, and although most of it unimpressive, the IJOY Reaper PLUS stands out among my stable of sub tanks. This has several features that are new to me, and useful, but I have heard it being compared to the Herckles which I do not own. The top and bottom airflow are GREAT, with both wide open you feel little to no resistance and blow some real nice clouds. Close em up and you can have a nice draw for you mouth to lunger's. The juice flow control, I am having a hard time finding a real use for, excluding being ble to close off for filling and even coil changes. Other than those great conveniences, it's the control part that confuses me, I cant tell a difference in my vaper with it wide open or just a quarter, I don't see the reason why everyone wouldn't just keep it open when vaping, the cotton will only hold the juice it can hold..... Maybe someone can school me a little. It also doesn't hurt that this is a very handsome tank with very nice machining and accents.

Nice packaging, comes with extra glass/gaskets/coils/cotton. The factory coils are large, with four vertical juicing holes, mesh spit back protect and triple parallel coils in SS316 .3 and triple parallel in Kanthal .4. I included the drip tip in the pic to illustrate that it isn't just a coated plastic tip, it's a stainless casing with a flexible monomer press fitted inside, which I haven't seen this done before, it does stay cool. The factory coils blow clouds but not a big flavor chaser, but I would care less about factory coils to be honest.

The build deck is a fairly spacious velocity style deck, very well build and sturdy. Was able to cram these 9 wrap twisted 26ga SS/Ni200 duals with little to no issue with positioning. The juice flow control, which is convenient for filling and coil changes, does take value able room which could have been used for a bigger coil/deck area, but it's big enough for some fun builds.

The side fill is perfect, fits even large glass droppers far enough inside to prevent messes, I really like this feature, and it's location is marked by an engraved "drop" symbol. The gasket is super tight, will not be opening in your pocket. Not sure if this was a design feature in the engineering process, or just an interesting anomaly, but when you open the juice fill, the metal ring perfectly seals off the upper airflows......neat.

So that's it, I don't hear this Reaper Plus coming up in conversation much, just wanted to put it out there. I overall am very pleased. It's really got some clever engineering aspects and is well built and sturdy. Wife has already dropped on concrete twice with no damage excluding scratched on drip tip.The flavor is "good" but not outstanding, the clouds can be dense and plentiful with right airflow adjustments. I like the build deck and yes......i think it looks cool. The juice flow can be awkward to adjust with tank on, but after it's tightened, further clockwise motion opens it and unscrewing it, of course closes it, cool that it auto opens and closes with installation and removal from device. Still trying to find a tank that holds to my MuTank, this has great features and is definetly a better quality tank, but the flavor could be better and the deck a little bigger. This will make a great all-day tank though, and it will definitely be one of my wife and I's regulars for work.

Design/Engineering ********* 10/10
QC/Build/Finish/Detail ********* 9/10
Ease of Use ****** 6/10
Vapor Production ******** 8/10
Flavor ****** 7/10

I just wanna add, I don't want to turn people off from this tank because I'm whining about muted flavor. Hopefully this will help put it in perspective. First of all, it's WAAYYYYY better compared to the Melo/Melo 2, Goblin Mini, Atlantis and it brings sweeter flavors out better than my Kangertech's, this is absolutely a step up from those, especially if running Kanger's dry and flavorless factory coils. I put the flavor on par with the Billow and possibly a hair over the Zephyrous if using coils, I feel the Zephyrous V2 has a better flavor when building, likely due to larger airflow holes under the coil and slightly larger channels. So lets put this right side by side with the Bellus, although when it comes to factory coils, some individual SxS dual coils always stay wetter and tastier than slim parallels, but building your coils I find the taste pretty close with a definite airflow boost from the reaper. The taste is on par with most of the new sub tank market, it's just not a huge flavor standout. That's it, wanted to clarify that, if your using most any other sub 30$ tank, this thing will likely be equal or better on taste, and it seems to really bring out the sweet fruit flavors on my peach/strawberry/melon juices. I am no expert, as I am only up to close to a ten tanks, there's a lot out there I haven't tried yet, but as my experience stands I reccomend this tank for folks that are at least intermediate vapers and won't be overwhelmed with all the setting options.

A few negatives with this Atty.

Chrome plated brass deck.
Press fit center pin which may not hold up well over time.
Relatively small post holes.
questionable quality center post insulators.

Personally the biggest issue for me is the chrome plated brass, I've got a fair number of atomizers I've retired due to finding tiny flecks of chrome peeling off. YMMV, and many don't mind the brass, however my feeling on the matter is they cut corners to increase profit margin. For the same investment, or less better atties can be had with similar, if not better performance. It does look decent though.

Plated brass instead of stainless is a big deal for many including me. Wouldn't even consider it because of that. I also consider juice control and the additional top airflow nothing more than gimmicks or band aids for those who don't know how to either properly wick there build or try to use a build that over powers the chamber size and air flow ability of the device. In other words, complete fail.

I agree juice row control seems pretty pointless, and I'd rather have that space for a bigger deck, the top aiflow seems to work, I like it better opened than closed that is, regardless whether I had a wick or not, it brings in more air. But does it do more than just making larger bottom flows would do? Not sure
