Ok so after 5 years of vaping I've used just about every brand of battery out there. With my current set up, I need a minimum of 20a. I'm a professional driver so I need batteries that will last me at least an entire day. I settled on my HG2's, but despite knowing they are authentic, I've never really been that impressed with them. I'm using a RX200S so 3 of the HG2's should give me at least 1 decent day on a .1 build at 110 watts, but I really was expecting more like 2 or more days. After several charge/discharge cycles on the new batteries, they still last a day at most.
So about 5 months ago (that's a guesstimate) I broke down and bought some Imren 20a 3000 mah (same specs as HG2) and I can say with no hesitation that the Imren's are way better. They last 3 days easily, never get hot, much less warm and performed better than any other battery that I've tried right out of the box. I liked them so much that I ordered more and have seen the same awesome performance on my IPV6X. In fact they will last 4+days in my 6X at 120 watts. I'm a moderate (I think) vaper. I go through about 20-30 mls of juice per day, so definitely putting the batteries to the test.
What I'm wondering is if anyone else has had the good experience that I've had with Imren or perhaps some other "off brand" battery. Too often we see experts knocking efest or Imren and while I respect their opinions and am thankful for their info, their tests just don't always reflect people's vaping experiences.
I'm really starting to think that Imren is a brand that people should carefully consider. I prefer them over any other brand that I've tried.
Thoughts? Opinions?
