Innokin Coolfire 4 up in smoke

So it is partly my fault and partly the mods fault. Was running my only mod a coolfire 4 with a mutation v4 on it. Juiced it up before I left work, got in my truck, hit the button and instant smell of burnt electronics. Hit the kill switch on the bottom and head home. Get home to assess the situation and there is juice leaking out of the bottom. When I wicked it the wick was just touching the airflow hole and dripped the atty dry. Take it apart and there are no seals anywhere in the mod. Board is fried and I have no mod now and trying hard to keep from wanting a smoke.

This would be one reason back ups are important. Gonna be able to grab another quick? Carton of smokes won't last you as long!! I'd be seriously bummed.

Huck is right! One can never have enough back ups!! Even quality mods have their share of failures.. Hell, I've got back ups to my back ups, lololol

what boards fit in that mod ? there are lots of boards around for sale . and plenty of people that would buy the box to replace the board and use it .

With christmas right around the corner and 3 kids I am tapped. Bummed is not the word for it. Pissed is a better term. I just got done paying for this one. Not sure on board type yet. Was so mad I couldn't mess with it. I don't know what I am going to do.

Get a Joyetech Ego One Mega kit. Use it and the atty you have to .3 Ohms. Simple, till you have more clams to spend. I have one and use it with my subtanks at .3 Ohms.
