Intellivision Entertainment has announced the Intellivision Amico, a family-friendly console with exclusive games.
The Intellivision Amico will run somewhere between $150 - $180 USD, and is set to release in North America and Europe on October 10, 2020. All of its games are to be rated either E for Everyone or E10+, positioning itself as a console specifically aimed towards younger gamers and their families.
All of its games are downloadable and will run between $3 - $8 US, with no high-priced DLC or in-game purchases. It will launch with some pre-installed Invellivision classics and over 20 games (both reimagined classics and brand new titles) through the Intellivision Online Store. There will also be similar Atari and Imagic classic titles.
