INW Mint & FA Strawberry

So due to budget reasons, my fiance and I can only afford to keep up with a couple flavors for now and have decided on the ones in the title, INW Mint & FA Strawberry.
I'm using a VG/distilled water/flavor mix and am wondering what a good flavor percentage to start with for them would be?
I tried 5% distilled water and 15% flavor for both, and at first it was pretty nice.. but then the flavors just dropped. We both can't taste either or, and friends that hit our mods say the same thing.
We both have the evic vtc mini 75w w/ Tron tank.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank-you.

For fa flavors your percents are super high. Bring the strawberry down to 3.5-4.5 percent and it will help.

Will bringing the percentage of flavor down make the flavor stronger/last longer? I don't understand.

If you use to much it will cancel out the flavor. It's a strange thing but it's basically your taste buds saying "to much flavor" they get overwhelmed

FA flavor concentrates are very concentrated. For standalone flavors people typically mix single flavors anywhere from 2-4%. If you mix a recipie with a lot of different flavors, and if they are all from FA the total flavor percentage will normally be between 5-10% with 10 on the high side.

If you asked me where to start...
3% strawberry FA
1% mint inwera.
You can always add more, but I normally find mint flavoring very strong and usually need less.

I'd say max 3% on fa strawberry any more and it starts to get a little harsh and the flavour diminishes. And with strawberry concentrates I've found they fade over time I add 2% dragon fruit and find it helps the longevity of the strawberry.fa raspberry at 1% helps too to make the strawberry pop.

You don't have to use water unless vg won't wick fast enough. Then I would say 5% should be perfect

Do you think I should experiment then? Maybe start with no water then add a percentage at a time if need be? Or even go down to half percent at a time?
I'm still pretty new to all this vaping stuff, so when you say only if the vg doesn't wick fast enough.. as in like it's simply just not able to pull a hit or what? I don't really understand.

Vg is really thick and alot of tanks don't like to wick it. That's why some people add water or pg to their juices.
You can try it without water first and if you get dry hits add maybe 3% water and see if that helps. If you still get dry hits take it up to 5%

ETA: yes when I say it won't wick fast enough just take this example
take some water in the bottem of a cup and flip it over. The water (pg or water in this case) spills out easily. Now take the same cup with the same amount of OIL(vg) in it and see how slowly it comes out.
