IPV D2 Fire button hard to press

So I've got an IPV D2 with a Uwell Crown and it's great.
EXCEPT: my fire button started occasionally, and increasingly hard to press. To the point where I have to press it with both hands (two thumbs) to get it to fire. I've taken it apart and blew everything out with compressed air as well as cleaned it thoroughly with alcohol; all to no effect. Sometimes I go hours with little or no issue But most of the time is a huge pain in the ass. Especially when I change the battery and have to have five successful presses to start it up.
HELP!?!?
If I have to buy another rig (which I cant afford) it'll likely be another d2 maybe d3. I just like the mod.
Any advise would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have had the IPV D2 for quite some time now and the button has progressively become harder to press. It started off a bit stiff and now needs a good press and doesn't have has much travel as it used too. It's become more of a beater mod / coil pulser but still gets some vaping time. Sounds like yours may have an issue considering it takes that much force. How long have you had it and who did you buy it from?

PS - the button on my ipv5 is pretty stiff too. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Thanks for the input man. I took it to three different "Vape techs" at two different shops this weekend in a last ditch effort to get it working and they all said it was fubar (no details).
So the hell with it I bought a Sigelei 90watt spark to replace it. Was on discount. Love it so far with my Uwell Crown so I'm good now.
Thanks again for the response man.

Ps
Bout the d2 off a dude from Craigslist for $20. Showed little signs of use. He said it was a back up.
Worked great for a month.
So yeah, sometimes Craig's list pays off and well...other times....
Lol.

Sounds like you got $20 worth of vaping out of it though, so I'd say that Craigslist came through for you this time. :)
