Ipv d2 question

Just got one in the mail today it shows to set the resistance which I did but then the resistance seems to change when firing is this correct or am I doing something wrong. Previous devices I've had the once the resistance is set it doesn't change thank you in advanced

the main screen shows REAL TIME resistance so it changes
its the only device I know that doe it

When you lock it it stays locked

Thanks for your response I figured that was the case and that's odd that it does it
