Answer is yes.. it will fire down to .2 ohms what wattage you use depends on experimentation so yes it will work just as a ground level starting point 60 -70 watts is a good starting point

Unless you have a nickel or titanium coil head, don't use joules mode. That's for temp control.

That's probably a 20 amp constant discharge, 35 amp pulse. That I know of a 35 amp constant discharge, 3000mah battery doesn't exist in an 18650 size.

That's why I'd never recommend anyone use a MXJO or other fake cell.

On topic, I use a Crown with my D2 - vapes beautifully, battery life is crap. I can burn through a battery an hour if I'm just sitting at my computer working and vaping...

Lol that sounds about right I have a crown running the dual .25ohm coil head and vapor production is great so is the flavor but i have to carry around 2 extra batts to last me all day
