According to the p4y site its a new chip the yihi 150h and will do step down but fingers crossed on the stainless. I will literally buy a small army of these if it does stainless.

Still not firmware upgradable and no SS temp control. Also, most small IPV mods have poor quality finishes. It looks gorgeous but I'll pass.

The only change I see to the D4 is moving up the Joules to 75

I'd love to see a dual 18650 version, kinda like the upcoming amodus minikin.

It is not an all in one.

What do you mean by that?

I see nothing here that would make me rush out to get one. An increase in J is something that should've been done with firmware upgradability. They didn't make that possible with the D2, that doesn't qualify as creating a new improved D3.

Improved bearing battery connection, 75J, memory settings, easier access to temperature adjustment and firmware upgradability would qualify as a D3.

It looks nice but not enough features to make me abandon my D2. I wonder if they plan on addressing the finish issues.

Edit to add - I love the looks of the minikin. The specs sound great too.

Wake and vape supposedly has the d3 in stock. I see no stainless steel capabilities mentioned.

Or step down. And the 80 watts might be bullshit too. All they really did was polish up the front and change the battery door. I for one love the battery door on my D2; in my opinion it's the best battery door in the business. I think it sucks that they didn't add a usb and if it won't be firmware upgradable they could have at least added SS capabilities. After learning this is what they consider and finished product of The v2, I'm pretty disappointed. If I was a retailer I wouldn't even sell it.

Same here. It's a huge risk trusting their programming to not have these mods be upgradeable.
Seems like an excuse to upgrade to 80w from 75w, call it a D3 and have a new release.
