IPV Mini 30 watt problem

Maybe someone can help...
I have had my genuine IPV Mini 30 watt for a little over a month with no problem, but in the last week a recurring issue has started which is, at best, annoying- at worst, making it near unusable...
I am burning up coils left and right!
I usually rebuild my Atlantis heads between .08 and .06 ohm. On other devices (Sig 100+ and Zen 30 clone) I rewick them after a week to ten days- new coil every three weeks or so...
I'm not getting a whole day when I use the same wattage, same tank, same coil, same juice and exact same Sony VCT battery on the IPV.
So I thought it might be a problem with my coil build- installed a stock head and same thing.
Ok, different tank. Tried my Aerotank Turbo (w/ two 1.8 ohm dual coil stock heads installed) running at 20 watts (I rarely go above that...) - BANG! Didn't even make it through a whole tank.
Next was a regular Aerotank with a stock 1.8 head at 9.5 watts.
Burned.
Tried a rebuilt 1.7 head.
Same thing.
I'm not pushing it hard, not getting dry hits, keeping the tanks topped off...
WTF???
Ideas anyone?

.06 and .08 ohms, or did you mean 0.6 and 0.8?

The Aerotank factory coils ( 1.8 ) shouldn't be run higher than 3.3v according to Kanger... I know I've gone a little higher... probably about 9w ( 4v ) but not more. 20w ( ie 6v ) is almost double what they recommend for those heads.

On the rebuilt Atlantis coils... it would depend on what gauge wire that was used as to how high you could set it. Test with a factory made coil...

If still having the issue with a factory Atlantis coils... test your output to see if it matches what the screen shows.

I might, MIGHT have found a solution to my problem. There are two vaping modes- PMW and DC-DC.
It's my understanding that DC is best for low ohm because it mimics a mech without regulation while the PWM mode performs better at +1 ohms by engaging full regulation ...
Might have had mine set wrong.
Putting it through the paces now.
Will let ya know.
