IPV Vesta 510 connection

Just a quick post (not review) about the new IPV Vesta I received today. Nice looking device and performs very well. But I thought I'd share something that kinda irks me.
I mounted one of my favorite tanks, the Coil Art Azeroth, after unboxing. And it appears that the 510 connector, even though it spring loaded, won't allow the Azeroth to screw down all the way flush. At the risk mucking it up I stopped screwing it down after I felt quite a bit of resistance. Any additional turns would have required more force than I was willing to put on it.
I tested it out with my Boreas and it went fine but also began to feel pretty tight.
So just a heads up good people....

This is the second report I've heard of regarding IPV 510's in the last week. Strange as I've always really liked the 510's. Hope they are not making changes for the worst.

OK, a quick follow-up to my original post. I've had the Vesta now for almost 3 months. I take it out and about with me but it's never been dropped or had any thing happen that would compromise it. And although the 510 post is adjustable, it has become very loose and wonky. When it was new the 510 ring sat tight and flush with the top of the body. Now it pops up requiring me to push it back down again.

On top of that... the bottom half of the firing button seems to be sinking/retracting into the body. The mod still fires and functions but I'm not holding my breath much longer. Will most likely have to disassemble it to see what's up. And no, I'm not sending it off for a month to get fixed!

Have there been similar reports like this on the Vesta??

I have had a similar issue with the ipv 8 all of their 510 connections are press fitted so this happening is inevitable. Send it to kmg for warranty service you'll get a new mod and only takes about a week. You open it up warranty is voided. The process for the exchange is simple and fairly quick u highly recommend it.
