IPV4 batteries

Sorry for the noobish question but I respect your opinions.
I have an IPV4 and I am using Orbtronic SX30 30 amp batteries in it. I am not having any problems with these but just wondering if there is a better 30amp out there. I have just started to get into the 0.4 and lower subohm range. thanks for the help.

the SX30's are good batteries. If you can find them, Sony VTC4 and VTC5's are true 30 amp batteries.

Doesn't matter how low you build on a regulated device. Max Amp draw is max wattage divided by minimum battery voltage plus say 10% forbsafety and boards not being completely efficient.

At full baul and at minimum battery voltage (6.6V) the IPV4 only pulls 15.15A. You're perfectly safe with a good 20A battery like HE2/4 and 25rs. Some retailers have VTC5 in stock again but they get bloody hot at 30A. Not that you'd be near that, so they too would be fine.

Thanks Nemesis I should have stated that I still occasionally use a reg mech mod, and I also like to go over on amp cushion just for piece of mind
