iPV5 software

Hey all, i just picked up an iPV5 and got it off of my buddy for about ten bucks, but thats because the software is having problems. whenever i hit the fire button, it glitches out, as in if i have it at 100w, hit the fire button and it shoots down to 12w. i also tried updating the software for it and it comes up "this file unsupport UNDEFINED, but..." etc. How do i go about fixing this?

got the last error fixed, but now i have a new error saying it doesnt support sx330-ipv5 OLED but it supports sx330-IPV5
if anyone has any experience with this, help would be greatly appreciated

Strange. The only issue I've ever had for mine would be the adjustment buttons randomly locking up. I don't think there have been any firmware updates for the 5. You should contact the warranty center and see if they can help.

Alright so its up to date, and now it works (sort of). The fire button sometimes works, sometimes doesnt work. Any ways to fix this?

Got it fixed, had to clean the contact. Points beneath the silver disc, the brass contacts. The contacts were black when i opened up the switch, but all is good and she be rollin now!
