Is a charger a neccesity or is on board charging ok for 2 weeks?

Hi people, I am placing my order tommorow of the Cloupor mini 30 watt, samsung 25r battery, and was going to use the usb port to charge for the first 2 weeks until I get payed again, but hear this is not the best idea.

If it is a safety issue, I would rather spend the extra £16 for a nitecore i2 tommorow even though it takes me over budget, as I don't want any safety issues, that comes first.

Well, I urge you not to get a Cloupor Mini 30. Too many issues with it. Get an IPV or a 30 watt iStick, heck even a 40 watt Kanger Kbox is better than the Cloupor Mini 30. That's just my opinion from seeing a lot of Cloupor issues. As far as safety goes, In all honesty I can't recommend the Cloupor.

I can vouch for the onboard charging system of the Sigelei 30 watt mini.

If you decide to get the Clouper (and I hope you don't) get a good charger. If you wish to be brave and charge it via the USB, put the dang thing in an old paint can and charge it outside and away from anything flammable.

Ahh man, I was all decided on the cloupor, and get payed in less than two hours. Took me ages to pick that one :(. Is it very bad quality? I heard the issues from the first batch was sorted. I can't find the sigelie in the UK.( I have but everywhere is out of stock)

I guess a charger will be ordered too then.

EDIT: I found the sigelei and its 8 quid cheaper! I think I will order it if it is better.

Ok I found somewhere to buy it from cheaper than the original place, including a nautilus mini. Bonus.

I can't adjust voltage on the sigelei though can I? Think I may go for the cloupor because of that.

EDIT: I realise voltage is not as important as wattage. As it was some pretty high ranking members I will take their advice and order the Sigelei in just over and hour.

Forget Voltage! Wattage is the way to go!!!

I had some of the early Variable Voltage mods when they first came out and they were great as they were the best available at the time.

But Variable Wattage is just the best of the best of the best!

The Sigelei and the nautilus mini are going to make you a very happy vaper!

RIght am I better buying a charger with this or and use my protank for 2 weeks or use the onboard charging and get the nautilus? It will only be a fortnight of going without one or the other.

Yeah, I meant by changing the wattage the mod handles the voltage. My new one is supposed to be here tomorrow.

Ahh I get ya :). SO what should it be, go without a charger for 2 weeks or go without the nautilus for 2 weeks? I'm using a protank II clone ( Good one though).

With the Sigelei you could indeed go without a charger for two weeks if whatever battery you put in there will last you a full day depending on your use of the device.

There are also some very inexpensive single battery chargers that will do until you get a better one.

I went with the charger in the end. I gathered safety is best for now. I have ordered the Sigelei 30 watt with a samsung 25r and nitecore charger. I should still have an enjoyable experience with the protank shouldnt I? I ordered some genuine coils for it.

You'll want another battery to swap in while the other charges. Learn to rebuild your coils to save more.

I got a 2500 MAH so in theory that should last me the day, but if not I will get another. And yeah that is something I may well do, I am just a bit worried when it comes to anything DIY, like I pretty much know if I buy something it should be safe, but If I make it myself it may not be. I need to learn OHMS law definitely.

That was pretty funny, I've not had the best times lately so thank you for cheering me up a little bit :). It won't be here until at least Wednesday unfortuneatly, due to Monday being bank holiday in the UK. But on Wednesday, you can tell me a few settings if you wish :), sort of vape across the pond lol.

Oh BTW the Sigelei was cheaper than the cloupor, so I got the whole setup with battery for the same price as the cloupor alone! And a lot of you seem to know more than me, so I trust this one not to attempt to murder me during charging lol.

You will be just fine with your new gear.

And don't worry about DIY and building your own coils. Just get used to the gear that you have just purchased, keep on reading the post on the forum and when the time comes where you start to think that DIY might be something you are interested in trying, all the help you need will be right here for you!
