is is safe to vape at 6volts? o.o Help i dont get this please.

im gonna be getting a mini volt mod kit. it comes with a 0.8ohms coil and the maximum wattage is 40w.

if i vape it at around 25 to 30w ill be vaping it at around 4.3v to 5v or so.

but what happens if i vape it at 40w with the 0.8ohms coil? will it taste burned? could it explode? is it dangerous? does it burn the coil faster ? what happens? D: technicaly if i vape it at 40 w ill be vaping at 6volts- is that even safe for a 0.8ohms coil?

You increase Voltage until you taste smoked ham in your mouth then you go down.....

A regulated mod doesn't explode specially a 40 watt mode.....

It's safe to vape at 1000 volts...... provided the amps drawn from the battery is in safe range....... electrically at least...

A coil can burn you at 1 volt... if you build low enough you can cause a battery to go critical due to excessive amp draw......

OHMS law applies more to battery drain on an unregulated mod. ... WATTS Law applies to regulated and some limited output mods. Both tell you the same thing just using different inputs and outputs.

Despite its super compact size of a little over 2 inches, the Mini Volt packs an impressive 40 watts of power. The device has an internal 1300mAh battery that is capable of handling resistances as low as 0.2Ω so you can use many of the mid-wattage sub-ohm tanks available on the market. Unfortunately, the Mini Volt does not support temperature control coils.

Its a regulated mod. The power is handled by 2 power controllers. input and output. Further, due to the output controller, your coil resistance has nothing to do with your wattage. You tell the mod how many watts to send to the coil, calculations are on on the chip and voltage is sent to provide that many watts. I believe amp x volt = watts (?) if i did the math correctly. lol. Amp draw is determined by desired watts and pulled by the first controller to meet that demand.

Further.. it isn't the volts you need to worry about. It is the amps. In your example, the battery is only using about 9 amps. Since we use only 20 to 30 amp CDR batteries, 9 amps is well below a level that would cause over heating.

Welcome @moldie101 and I hop you enjoy your stay. Although they say the coils can take up to 40 Watta I would probably run them at 25-30W like you said in your original post. Start at 20-25W and work your way up.

Safe in vaping is relative........ in theory you mod won't fire a unsafe build........ that does not mean that an electrically safe build is safe to vape...... there's also heat and nicotine levels to consider........ 36mg ml nic juice might be safe at 5 watts on a 2ohm coil... it might not be at .2 ohms and 150 watts or even the 2ohm 50 high watts.

I have vaped 48MG in 100% VG to prove that you will not wind up in the ER and that was at 100W in TC mode at 460°F. Although it did pack a nice head rush I am still here and NO ill effects.

While it is true the fact all modern regulated mods come with a plethora of embedded safety features, one has to also consider that other fact, which is that those safety features can still fail. Lithium ion rechargeable batteries can start to vent (and, in an extremely very rare event, can go into thermal runaway), even whilst they aren't being used, but battery venting normally only occurs after serious mishandling or misuse of the device and or the battery, which doesn't mean they're inherently safe to use so it's all about risk reduction... they most certainly can and do explode, just not so often that you should be worrying about explosions after you follow all the safety guidelines.
